This place actually deserves 5 stars! I've been going here for years. Even the lady I know running it I met when our children were in kindergarten together. But I went there 2 days ago, no one waiting it was 430 in the afternoon. I went right up to the counter and ordered the #2. 2 cheese enchiladas with rice and beans. Unfortunately, the drive home took an hour. But I didn't care. I had the great food before. I went out of my way to get it. It was TERRIBLE! That is saying it nicely. The Mexican rice was not cooked all the way, I could not even eat it. The enchiladas were chicken, not cheese, and whatever the condiments they used on top was so crunchy I had to use a knife to cut into it.
Needless to say, I was so disappointed. I pray next time it will be cheese and the ones I have had at lunchtime that are so delicious.
Thanks for all you have served for all these years. Honestly, this place is a great place. Please don't serve dishes like this again to anyone.
Thank you, long time, customer...

They just got a new chef and it took 45 minutes to get an order of flautas and a cali burrito. The burrito was overcooked and tasted and smelled like fish.

Unfortunately while waiting for food we saw huge roaches casually walking back and forth in the kitchen area. Had to ask for a refund and leave without food. Just couldn’t do it after seeing roaches in broad daylight.

Best Mexican food in Miramar! This place family-run restaurant is at the top of my list and everyone there is super kind. I'm partial to the breakfast burritos but anything off their menu will be great!

Great service and friendly staff. Food is good and freshly made. ??
I did not taste the food since i got there at 6:15 (google says they open at 6 and their schedule on the window too) and they were still closed. Schedule should be fixed.
This place is fire and it's close proximity to the marine corps base is a godsend

Ordered a California Burrito one time after a night drinking with friends. The burrito was absolutely massive and it took me 2 meals to finish. Flavoring was nice but the best part was the portion!

I ordered the #6 combo - an enchilada & chile relleno, and drank their various fountain iced teas. The food was good.My one complaint: pico de gallo was missing from their salsa bar. They had five salsas, four of which are just thin liquid. It would be nice to have finely chopped tomatoes, onions and cilantro with my meal.Btw, they sell coffee in the morning even though it is missing from the menu.
Parking: There was plenty of parking on a weekday at lunch time.
