One of the worst Chinese food I had here, the taste is nowhere close to authentic Chinese food for the flavor and textures are terrible. Fried dumplings has soft instead of crispy skin and everything are disappointing, no wonder why there are rarely any Chinese people eating here

The waitress ryshed us out. I had not even finished my wine before she asked if we were leaving yet.

I sat at the bar and the service was great. I recommend. Don't forget to order the chili oil, it's delicious and goes with everything.

Ok, this place kinda sucks. No idea how it maintains its 4.5 star rating on Google.
I came here based on the Google reviews, that they are based in the Asian district in SD, and that they had two of my favorite items on the menu, 椒盐鱿鱼 and 黑椒牛柳.
The food is just not good. Nothing else to say. 90% of the patrons were white folk, despite being smack dab in Convoy where all the Asian stuff is. There are so many better genuine Asian eateries in the area, it would be a shame to come here.
The beef was overcooked, tough, and gamey. The flavor profile was obviously catered to 外国人 tastes, since the sauce was drenched in sugar and overly sweet, versus the spicy profile a Cantonese would expect from this dish.
The squid was also tough and chewy.
Overall, a disappointing experience.

I don't think the dumplings were good at all. I've had way better. in fact, I've had way better everything that was served in that restaurant

Took me 15 years to discover this restaurant, love it here! Our go to is 100% soup dumplings, do not leave here without trying them. Broccoli/scallion beef and Kung pao chicken are our favorites but I haven’t had anything I haven’t liked yet. They also have homemade noodles here, pay a little extra for those for your noddle
Dishes and soups. My favorite part about eating here is there is no “food hangover” or energy crash after eating. You feel light on your feet when you leave. Also they have a great beer menu! Pricing in the image below, it’s very fair, and that might be the best part!
