They wouldn’t allowed me to get more food unless I finish it and comeback for seconds. This is for take out btw. So, they expect me to leave to my destination, finish my food, go back to the chow hall (which would be close by then), and they wouldn’t let me in unless I paid again. I don’t know how they came up with that process.

So to start, I have to compare chow halls on a chow hall scale, because obviously regular food is superior. Out of all the chow halls I’ve eaten at, this is one of the better ones, and I believe that stems from the amount of visibility MCRD gets as a whole. Lots of big names and shiny collars come through, and that’s not common with chow halls on larger installations. Food is good. Breakfast is the cheapest meal at $4.50, lunch at $7.00, dinner at $6 something. In this day and age, easily worth the price. Save your money, eat here

What a great place to celebrate both Marine Corp birthday and Veterans Day!Old friends from back in the day were there to really make the day and more memories.The food was amazing! Looking forward to next year!

Sodexo has does a wonderful job hiring people with disabilities, but the food is terrible, like absolutely terrible.
