Come join me at one of my favorite Sushi Restaurants in all of San Diego, EDAMAMI in TierraSanta for an amazing array of fresh Sushi and drinks. Edamami is a cozy restaurant known for its delicious sushi rolls, which come in large portions of approximately 12 pieces per roll. The staff is courteous and accommodating, providing excellent service. The restaurant has a great vibe and offers fresh, high-quality food at affordable prices, with weekly specials. It is a local favorite and a welcoming spot for both dine-in and take-out. Edamami is also child-friendly and features a variety of dishes, including sushi rolls, unagi bowl, chicken veggie bowl, and avocado/salmon roll.
Recent reviews highlight the fresh and tender sushi, noting that it's perfect for those craving something light and flavorful. Customers appreciate the good portion sizes for the price, enjoying items like the lunch bento which includes California rolls, fried gyoza, veggie tempura, miso soup, and salad, all praised for their value. The edamame served was tasty and nicely salted, and the service was fast. While some reviews mentioned mixed experiences with certain sushi and sashimi, the quality of the salmon and yellowtail was described as stellar. The Rainbow Roll was also executed well, stuffed with fresh crab, avocado, and cucumber. Edamami may not rival the most notorious sushi restaurants, but it stands out as a great local option with room for expanding its selection in the future.
