I was recommend to this place in by someone who used to work here. All their sushi rolls are delicious and come with so many pieces. The amount of pieces per sushi roll is worth the value. Each roll comes with approximately 12 pieces. For the quality and amount per roll I highly recommend this place. This place is my go to spot for sushi.

Amazing service and fresh food. Came here after hiking with our two year old and intended to take out, but he was so hungry we ended up eating at the tables outside. The kind staff checked on us the whole time and were very child friendly. We enjoyed an unagi bowl, chicken veggie bowl, avocado/salmon roll and Cali roll. Everything was solid and fresh. A very welcoming restaurant!

My wife & I have been coming here for the past 10 years and the quality has ALWAYS been topnotch. Their sushi is always fresh. The albacore sashimi is my go-to favorite. The baked langostino is SO good, along with their lemon roll.I lived in Japan for 4 years, so I've had my share of Japanese culture and cuisine, and no other place in San Diego has come close to this establishment. We could sit here for hours, eating & sucking down the sake. The restaurant is a little on the small side considering the amount of business they do, BUT they have an outdoor seating area now, compliments of covid. The only time seating inside the restaurant actually becomes an issue is on Fridays & Saturdays. The entire neighborhood knows where to find the best sushi in Tierrasanta so it's understandable.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that anyone in the mood for some Japanese cuisine should choose Edamame for their dining experience over the others. There are at least 2 other sushi spots in a 1 mile radius, but they cant compete with the quality here. The ONLY thing I don't like about this place is that it isn't open 7 days a week.
Love the food and service. Highly recommend the rolls.

Ok if you like sushi this is your spot. It's a hidden gem here in Tierrasanta. My wife and I had the ex-girlfriend, the sin city, the billy and the Torrey pines. Hands down some of the best I've had in a long time. The portion sizes are huge. We also had the shrimp tempura and spicy garlic edamame! Players. Don't think about it just go and enjoy!' My only regret is that we didn't take photos to post!
Decent neighborhood sushi joint! My friend lives less than a mile away and we all wanted some quick sushi without waiting. The nigiris were a bit overpriced compared to like other sushi restaurants, it'll cost ya $6-8 for 2. We got salmon and tuna. The tuna tasted a little frozen and flavorless. Salmon was better. The rolls were fun but nothing too special. I also got grilled salmon plate. The salmon felt like it was reheated as it didn't come as hot. Overall, not too bad. Quick sushi joint if you're in the neighborhood.

Decent sushi. If you're in the area and craving a little sushi, this place with scratch the itch. Now don't expect anything like Sushi Ota, but more of your standard birthday cake rolls and some nigiri options. I liked their salmon the best and then their hamachi. The tuna wasn't great. The rolls were great! - Catalina - Special Hawaiian - Deluxe Rainbow Draft beer availableEasy parking

This is a great neighborhood sushi place. The food is always fresh and delicious. It's kinda small, so seating can be a challenge at peak times, but it's totally worth the wait!! I gave 3 stars for atmo cuz the dining room is plain, but the food and service excel, and that's why you'd go here.
