Cotixan Mexican Food

Had a really bad experience at this location on February 19, 2025, around 11 PM while picking up a DoorDash order. Instead of letting me know upfront that I couldn’t pick up through the drive-thru, the employee just acknowledged my order and said nothing. I waited, only to get yelled at when I reached the window. She told me that the customer had called, that they were regulars, and that they were really upset with me for supposedly taking too long. She kept making noises and comments, making the whole situation super awkward and unprofessional. If this is how they treat not just delivery drivers but anyone, I’d really like to know if this is normal for this location. Definitely disappointing.

Rude and no CS.

But, food is really good, surprisingly.

Not greasy for my sensitive stomach.

Ordered through doordash. Food delivered missing items. Called the store and they said it was doordash problem. I ask if the driver removed the rice and beans from the container. She told me they packed everything (liar) but had no answer how rice and bean disappeared. And that the 2nd plate the driver must have kept. Cotixan has lost my business for good after this crap!!!!!

I live down the street and have giving this place a few tries but I'm over it. Got the hot carrots, they weren't hot and also dry/stale. Also ordered a cali burrito which I always figured a staple here and hard to screw up. The carne was dry, gummy, and didn't have any flavor. The cheese was cold and not melted. Better off driving another 5 minutes down the road to another spot.

The loaded nachos (“supreme”) was disappointing. Bland carne asada, gritty chips, tiny helping of guac, and unmelted cheese. The salsas tasted old and almost spoiled, had to toss them. Definitely not worth nearly $18 (with tax). Go to one of the nearby restaurants instead.

This place is terrible yet it’s so close to me so I keep giving it a chance to see if anything changed and nope. The lady at drive through is so rude it’s crazy. She literally sits there and keeps yelling super loud “anything else” on repeat while I order. I got sauces that were quite literally rotten and gross. And I called just to let them know they should throw them out only to be told “ooooooohkaaaay, what do you want to do about it you want to come back amd get more food or not. This place is laughable
