Not greeted or told to use the kiosk to order. Employee stingy with the salsa and out of salsa roja. Had to ask for more salsa even though I entered the amount of salsa wanted in my order.

I walked in and a gentleman smiled and nodded as he worked and a young woman greeted me. I hope I get her name right… “Anjelica “ I’m have a short term memory moment as the restraunt is close so I walked a few blocks to it I remember her name had J where you would expect a G. She made my evening ! She was kind and helpful. Willing to help me. I appreciated her attitude. She work well with all the customers that came in while I was there. I would say she went above and beyond to make everyone’s experience a good one. It was a very pleasant atmosphere the food was eye appealing and fresh. My chicken greens were crisp and tasty a good assortment of veggies. I ordered a half of chicken with Mac & cheese and coleslaw my friend devoured. Thank you for the good experience and food!

Terrible they always mess up my food the manager Monica needs to be fired ! She refuses to give me any service after she is the one that messed up my food yelled at me through the window of the drive thru told me she will not fix my food and not to come back but this is not fair this location is made for residents of imperial Beach and there family's but apparently the manager of Monica told me that she owns the place and not to come back so I gave this El Pollo loco location 0 stars because they always mess up my food and manager says she owns the place and not to come back I hope the corporation of Pollo loco then she turns customers away
I ordered through doordash they forgot to put my flan dessert in the order I gave five stars for the service because Arturo the manager offered to bring it to my house and add one more for my inconvenience. That was very kind of him and because of that I gave them a review. The chicken I gave 4 Stars it wasn't fresh and they were small pieces for a 8-piece family meal. Arturo deserves a raise because he went up and Beyond to make sure that we were satisfied for not receiving our dessert that we paid for. Fast food is very hard work and demanding.

I travel a lot and have visit many restaurants.
But service here has been one of a kind.

The restaurant looks great inside — I really like the remodel. It's clean, modern, and inviting. The food was ok, for the price.
What really bothered me, though, was the service. I was shocked that the cashier didn’t speak English and couldn’t help me at all. In the United States, that’s unacceptable. Customers shouldn’t have to wait or be redirected just to speak English. It left me frustrated and questioning the hiring practices. Are they that desperate for employees?
This is a great place in terms of food and atmosphere, but they seriously need to address the language barrier. Hire English or bilingusl for what ypu pay them. English-speaking service should be standard.

Placed an order for a Mixed 8 pc meal. When I got home I realized they had given me a leg and thigh meal. Drove back to get the correct order. I requested that the chicken be made well done because the chicken didn’t appear to cooked correctly. I received chicken that wasn’t cooked all the way through, it was pink and bloody. It had been a long time since I had been to this location, I stopped coming here because of this reason. I usually go to the store on Palomar and they never disappoint. Do better, follow through on your customers requests or at least cook the chicken thoroughly for goodness sake it’s CHICKEN not beef!!!
