I ordered a chicken bowl for lunch tomorrow and I got a burrito combo for 7.99. It came with chips, and drink, 1 chicken taco, and a churro. The burrito was mainly rice and beans. Very little to no chicken. The chips good salt measure, but I could taste a bit stale. Churro and taco were good.

It’s been a minute since I’ve had El Pollo Loco, but I stopped by the one off El Cajon Blvd. and 54th, and the food here is still as good as ever. I was a little disappointed to see the salsa bar is gone (RIP to a real one), but Estella took my order and made the experience a good one. I parked and walked in, and she greeted me with a great attitude super friendly and helpful.
I know El Pollo Loco is a big chain, but I like to give credit where it’s due. When employees are kind and on top of it, people should know and Estella definitely didn’t disappoint. Keep up the great work over there!
