This is a great deal. 1dollar fish tacos. If I'm in the area, this is one of the top places to go. It's not the best, but it's good.

I went here on cinco de Mayo I ordered 4 fish tacos to eat with my friends it’s currently been 1 hour and 20 min and I still don’t have my food! There have been people who came in after us and ordered more and got their food before us! Don’t eat here!!!!!(Update)I got my food after 1 hour and 50 minutes!!!!

I’m so sad to walk into a restaurant and be treated less than. I had been standing at the bar area for maybe 5 minutes. A couple came in after me and was helped before me(I’m not this type but I feel it’s because I’m black,) they even apologized to me.The food is mediocre. A gentleman came out with a tray of food asking if it was our food. I could have easily said yes but, I’m honest. He was so rude to us but, he should have said thank youThe bathrooms STINK horrible. I spoke with another customer and she said she was leaving and would not be back because of that.I live down the street from here and at one time wanted to work here. I feel I should have so I could make a difference In the customer service.

Huge bar, cheap tacos, and good food! Carnitas fries were crispy and well made. Massive portion. Absolutely worth a stop for a drink and some food.

This is partially my fault but I ordered a dish and it was good but I asked for no rice and beans replaced with lettuce. Instead I got guac (good) and lots of rice.I should have returned it but didnt. My bad. I feel like i way overpaid. Good amount of shrimp and appreciated the guacamole as a makeup for no beans but tons of rice for a guy on a low carb diet. Ate about 12% of the bowl.Disappointed. I should have repeated myself.

Went after a morning workout. Had 3 fish tacos and a horchata fountain drink for about $7. Yes, the fish tacos are advertised at $1.19 each, very good portions with the choice of corn or flour tortillas, but didn't find them very tasty. An orange-colored salsa and pickled carrots from the complementary salsa bar helped a bit. The spot seems to be best suited for drinks at night, per the music played and full bar at this place. Would go back then or to try other food.

Best fish taco deal in Carmel Valley!! $1.19 big size fresh fried fish tacos, crispy batter, fish is fresh, shredded cabbage, white sauce and your choice of corn or flour tortilla. No better deal around! Place is well decorated, great vibe, staff is super friendly, many other happy hour options food and drinks. It's open until midnight everyday!

Their happy hour has really good prices. They were pretty full on a Friday evening during happy hour but it was worth it. The carne asada fries were very tasty and a good size for the happy hour price. Would definitely go again for the deals. Their Mexican candy shots were really good but the Michelada was a little bland.

"1 dollar fish tacos, does it get much better than that?" - Ryan Enos "Best fish taco I have eaten" - myself

Finally visited their new Carmel Valley location after being a regular at their Del Mar location for 3 years. Same amazing consistency that I remember - this location is absolutely beautiful I'll be posting other photos separately. I always get the two fish taco plate with rice and beans very affordable it's under $10 after a twenty percent tip!!! But mind you I was there during happy hour. I always get one flour one corn tortilla. I love that you order at the counter and take your number wherever you please. Self serve salsa bar, self serve drinks, this is a fast casual restaurant it's not your typical sit down and order it's perfect for this community. If you want table service, sit at the bar. There is always staff behind the bar that's their post. They have hooks under the bar which I LOVE for bags, purses, and hats. Thank you Jeff and Kam for taking care of me at the bar and making me delicious HAPPY HOUR drinks. The El Pueblo double margarita during happy hour is $12 !!!!! KILLER deal - usually $20 during non happy hour Thank you El Pueblo!!!!
