Very meh. Ordered carne asada burrito and two taco plate, took almost 20 minutes to come out even though there was nobody else there. Like it was completely empty at 7pm, should’ve been telling. Food was just unimpressive. Beef tasted off in both dishes, undercooked beans, skimpy meat in the burrito. The rice had random stuff in it like carrots, celery, potato (?). Won’t be going back. There’s better places around here.
Food was nasty.

Family run place that’s been around for ages. Best drive thru for a quick bite, refreshing to still have a mom n pop place in the neighborhood.

Tried to park and told we cant park?
Had burrito was good
Came here 2 nights ago around 9pm. The lady that helped us was very nice and so was the man (the cook). We had just moved to the area and were so hungry from moving that we decided to walk and came upon this place.
Service: there was a language barrier but I got my Spanish on and despite the time the older lady was just so nice and sweet to us. The older gentleman (cook) was so friendly as well.
Food: beyond amazed. It was mexican home cooking! The flavor of the Carne asada, the guacamole and salsas were delish! I was so impressed. I got a homestyle cooking with tasty flavor and quality I was in awe.
Atmosphere: quaint outdoor seating. It looks like a little house with a gate around the front with a fast food flare. They also have a drive thru and plenty of parking in the back.
My thoughts: I highly recommend this little spot. It's quite the gem! I am new to this area and I have tried tons and tons of mexican food places because tacos are my 3rd favorite food.... and this place is my new go to spot!
Our order:
Carne asada burrito = yum 5 stars ... my husband thinks the tortillas are homemade. We didn't ask.
Carne asada tacos: = extra yum 5 stars. Has their own homemade guacamole.
Just try it! We will be back!! I will try to update with pics when I go during the day. Til then.

The Burrito Supreme is very delicious!!! And the one from Adobada! I was hungry and I didn't have time to take the photo before biting it, nor could I stop until I took 3 more bites!

Family from Morelos Mexico. So kind and nice. Food is super hot and tasty. Bet soups I’ve ever had at a toco shop. Highly recommend albóndigas and caldo de res. Truly a hidden gem in SD for Mexican food.

Got a sausage breakfast burrito which lacked quality by far - it reminded me of a microwave frozen burrito..Service was nice overall - man seemed to be working solo and didn't know how to use the tap to pay feature on their sales machine, I had to step in and help before he charged me $8.59 again but in tip.I will not return again as I've given them a couple tries over 3 years and it consistently is gross, underwhelming food that I feel gives taco shops a bad name too often.

We ordered one of my favorites, Caldo de Rez and it was not good. The meat was tender but the broth was not flavorful and potatos were not cooked. I called them to return and swap for a chicken burrito (my partner's burrito was good) but they hung up the phone on me. The woman who took our order initally was very kind.. but I will not be coming back.
