Ever since the new ownership took over, the menu and prices have changed. It doesn’t feel the same, and unfortunately the portions are smaller while the prices are higher. And I know the tortillas are not the same :(

The place ought to be called “ El desagradable!” The food is greasy and disgusting! The resultant itself is filthy! Won’t be back EVER!

I just bought food from el sabroso with new owners. Did not like the burritos they change the menu and we are used to the food a certain way. Never seen a breakfast burrito with beans. Use to be my favorite place never going back there again.

A little hole in the wall, I couldn’t even find. Walked everywhere and asked everyone. The finally found it. Nice and friendly cashier who I jokingly negotiated to use restroom if I bought food. The complimentary chips were great touch.The fish taco was fresh and crispy with cabbage slaw and perfect white sauce. It all worked out perfectly. One of the best fish tacos I ever had. The tripa was crispy and worked out well. Salsa were okay but could use work. Overall perfect taqueria for fish tacos. Must try in San Ysidro.

Best Surf and Turf burrito in town! Asada nice and tender. Not skimpy with the shrimp. Recommend getting the sauce on the side.

I have a senior parent that goes there weekly for breakfast or lunch. They're very kind and compassionate to her. ADA compliant, truly a blessing to find a restaurant that treats seniors with kindness and respect.

The food is a hit or miss here. It can be absolutely delicious or downright disgusting. They definitely reheat days old food and serve it to you, there is no other explanation for how the food tastes other than that. Food used to be very affordable but it’s getting very pricey lately. Not sure how much longer I will eat here, it’s getting cheaper to make the same food they serve here at home than to eat here. Otherwise the atmosphere is nice and I have personally never had a problem with any of the workers; i have friends that have had issues though. For the most part the service is nice though. I just wish the meat was always cooked well. You never know with this place, meat can be burnt, raw or perfect. If you like to gamble, you might like this place. Try your luck!
