Big fan of Mexican food this place is hidden in a strip mall in Del cerro. I really liked the atmosphere it was small but had 2 massive flat screen TVs showing Thursday night football great place to catch a game with friends that nobody knows about yet. Would recommend to anyone who likes great Mexican food had the carne asada plate it was amazing.

I like to give 5 stars on all three but atmosphere is not family welcom because of the bad music in Spanish is not traditional Mexican music is ghetto narc bad word music that I'm discuss to hear and is a bad representation to Mexican culture.

Every single thing I've ordered here has been disappointing. The California burrito was mediocre, the meat was partially burnt, and the salsa was bad. The broth of the "birria ramen" tastes like very concentrated saltwater. I had to force myself to finish it.Just go to Senor Pancho by the university or get some wings from KnB next door.

I've been here several times. Fish tacos are legit. Everything is way too expensive but, whatever. It is never too busy (probably because it is way over priced). Employees are friendly. The reason I will never go back now is because I was told the owners are requiring the employees to charge for a water cup. This is even after the customer just dropped $50 on 7 tacos and a beer and gave a freaking tip. Wow!! That's straight disrespect. My business goes elsewhere now.

Ordered a 2 chicken taco plate and was very disappointed. Usually when I order taco plates there will be tacos with lettuce and cheese. This was just grilled chicken with tortillas on the side. Then asked for salsa and they would only give us 2 salsas.
Horrible tacos. The adobada “street” taco had a handful of pineapple, sorry but if you’re going to put pineapple on the taco at least name it appropriately, if you didn’t know they’re called tacos Al pastor, so ppl know what they are actually ordering and not be forced to pick out the pineapple. The carne asada “street” taco was bland af also no type of seasoning what so ever. The meat was obviously not your typical asada cut, it was more like chunks of steak that badly needed to be seasoned. Tortillas were your typical market packaged tortillas not hand made. The price for 6 tacos was $40, I feel completely ripped off and will never come back again.
Yum! Service was excellent! The girl behind the counter was friendly. The food was super quickly served. Quality food and a great atmosphere. Definitely worth it!

We've recently been using the "carnitas TJ/street tacos" as our standard barometer to evaluate various local taco shops, and these were barely average among those we've tried. Their offering is $4.50-4.95 EACH with five different options. This is about TWICE the going price. Some places only sell four mini tacos (of all one kind only) for $9-10.00, which appeared to be "standard" (as of 2022), but a LOT of food for one person (my wife and I usually split an order of four, and that's usually perfect). The size of the tortillas was as expected, but there was only one tortilla per taco (almost all the other places we've tried used two, and slightly off center to hold more filling. The portion of meat was skimpy, but the carnitas were tasty and moist. There was not enough onion nor enough cilantro (some little bit of salsa fresca), only ONE lime wedge for FOUR tacos, and NO guacamole or even an attempt at "guacamole sauce". Most others we've reviewed here were 5-7 bite tacos (my personal metric), but these were only 3-4 bite tacos. We had read good reviews of this place (specifically for TJ mini tacos) and had come here previously more than a few times over many years when it was still just "El Toro", but the new management of "Taco Kings"/"Hibachi Kings" seems to be milking the reputation of the prior business. Sadly, with the competition in the TJ taco market (though I don't think there is another taco shop in Del Cerro, so maybe that's why they think they can charge these prices) we will not be returning.
