Took a little while to be seated although I had a reservation and was there on time. Otherwise, the service was on point. Cocktail was perfect and there's a nice wine list, including a good selection of regional Italian wines by the glass. I had the lamb chops, which were perfectly cooked. Portion was large. The vegetables and reduction accompanying the lamb were delicious.
Disappointing compared to Ceasarina. Not as many options for vegans like myself. Pizza was very salty. Extra charge for vegan mozzarella which was not clear. The pizza was marked on the menu as vegan so should automatically come with vegan cheese. I've never been charged extra for vegan cheese on a vegan pizza. Appreciated the free dessert for my birthday which was very good. Very noisy and cramped. Our waiter Nick was great. I'll stick to Ceasarina.
We really enjoyed our recent dinner at Elvira (our first time). Graham provided excellent service. The food was exceptionally good. The pasta is fresh. The Caprese salad made a great appetizer to share. The Lamb Chops are excellent. A little on the noisy side due to the concrete walls. We'll be back.
