Embargo Grill / Little Cay OB

Loved this place when it was embargo grill, will have to come back once it re opens. Hopefully it stays great

Ever had a sandwich so good that it changed your life? I've been to Miami's best Cubano restaurants and they didn't hold a candle to Embargo. When I was stationed in San Diego, I went here for years. Their pork shoulder is marinated in orange juice, lime juice, and garlic and then shredded rather than sliced. It's absolutely divine.The ambiance is distinctly Caribbean and the staff is always friendly. It doesn't look like much from the outside, which is why I always brought people to Embargo to blow their minds on how good a Cubano could taste so far from Havana. I hope they reopen soon. This place is a gem.

I'm not sure what happened but the food is just not good anymore. My beef was burnt and my fish was dry and tasteless. Way too much rice for the sides and my broccoli was not cooked. I guess there is new management but I wish they wouldn't have changed the way the food was prepared. I am so disappointed, I spent so much money on the four meals I purchased.

I celebrated my birthday this evening in this gorgeous place. Well we passed a tremendous evening and the restaurant was surely the reason for the outstanding meeting. The stuff helped in a lovely style, the cuisine was delicious and my friends were very joyful. We shall no dout return for more joyful events. Thank you very much.

Salad, and muduros were xcellent. The only disappointment were the fried cassava/yucca; not quite right. Like they had gotten cold then refried, not sure.

I eat in this restaurant a lot! This is my favorite restaurant to grab a bite. I go there regularly. The food is very tasty, the workers are welcoming and the payment is reasonable. I enjoy being in this restaurant for a nice supper.

The empanadas and the shrimp Tostones were amazing! Great flavors. I wanted to also try the croquetas but unfortunately they didn't have any that day. Definitely recommend a visit. There was salsa music playing just welcoming you in to the front doors. There is some outside seating right now.

I often take my friends to this place with my warmest recommendations. I visit this restaurant often. This recommendation is always successful. The the cooking is appetizing and the crew is attentive and cooperative. Every time we eat in this place we enjoy a gorgeous time. warmly recommended.

Food had no none nada authentic taste.Food was cold!Tostones were dry and overcooked and the lechon had a sweet and sour taste they claim to be from puerto rico uhhhhhhh lie!!! The advertised dessert was horrible, no presentation it appeared to be a hunk of wet wood with a horrible taste.Save your money, i spent a 103 dollars on food and felt like calling the police after to report a robbery. The chef needs to be fired. Let me finish by saying YUCK! YUCK!!!YUCK!!!!

This place has been renamed to Little Cay. They have draft beers & Caribbean beer. Good selection of all types of West Indian cuisine.

This restaurant is the one I like best. I go to many restaurants but to this one I go the most. The stuff is very affectionate and the cuisine they cook is so good. I never decline to have a decent meal here. Highly recommended.

This place sure knows how to take care of their customers. Consistently with a very welcoming approach. The food is fairly priced, always tasty and clean.

I've been coming here for years and now that they are now Little Cay it's just as good. Aside from the food which is always phenomenal, the thing that brings me back is the service. The people that work here, from the owner to the cooks, are the most friendly and welcoming staff. It's hard to find a place where the staff truly enjoys working where they work and they always make me feel like family.

The meals and service were ahead of my expectations. We really loved the vibes of this spot. Excellent place to take the family out for dinner.
