Good beer great location in the bay...staff is very friendly
Great place and atmosphere. We were there mid-day when they were just opening, I believe, so we had the outside patio to ourselves. Relaxing and great location.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this new edition to our waterfront!!! The setting is only enhanced by the quality of the craft brews! So happy they are here! Addition of Nectar Coffee Bar is perfect!!! Excellent espresso service and pastries too! The baristas are top notch!!! Have taken friends with me and all were impressed!!!
Wonderful and friendly crew and a great selection of tasty brews to try.
This place rocks! Staff is a good time and they always take great care of the guests. They have pop-up food vendors on most nights of the week. Golf simulator going on inside as well.
This is a fantastic tasting room that I've visited many times over the years. Simply amazing views and true SD vibes. The thing that disappoints is that Eppig Brewing is not longer owned by original family, and sold to Grant Tondo (Mason Ale Works).
Now all of the original beers are now contract brewed by AleSmith and in doing so the overall quality of the original beers have been ruined. Nothing tastes the same and that's a shame for all of us that loved and supported the Original Eppig Family Beers. 2-Stars only for the room. ~Sad.
Cider is fantastic! Love that you added food trucks. Yummy the burger bum is amazing
This place has a really nice vibe and they have a good selection of beer.
Amazing staff, all so nice and we love them! Amazing beer too. We miss watching sports in the inside though, which was a nice interior to hang out in, which is now replaced by a golf simulator… can’t see the view from inside now! 11/10 beer, 11/10 staff
Great selection of brews and ciders, large patio area and a casual Biergarten vibe. We’re lucky to be there when Beach Bum Burgers had a popup and their food was awesome. Great combination—highly recommend. Only significant drawback is the serious lack of parking hence the 4 stars…

We had the welcome dinner here for our wedding and absolutely loved it. The staff were so kind and went to great lengths to ensure our event was a success.
Good beer, nice people, and a lovely location.
Normally would give this place a 5, we’ve been coming here for years but they’ve added a golf simulator right across from the bar that is super loud and makes me feel like I’m under attack while ordering my beer. Also noticed the bar staff flinching every time a ball was hit. Not a good time.
OMG, best place for a cold brew next to the water. I had the 10:45 to Denver IPA, delicious.
Been coming here for a while, but disappointed the other night with the new Golf Simulator they put in. Aside from being out of place and an eyesore, It takes up all the indoor seating and made the line to get a beer incredibly confusing. Really hope this is just temporary for the holiday week and not a permanent installation.
Eppig Brewing in Point Loma has been one of our absolute favorite places in San Diego — the perfect spot to unwind with friends, family, and our dog. The location is unbeatable, the vibe was always welcoming, and the staff? Truly the best. Many have become genuine friends over the years, which made this place feel like more than just a brewery — it felt like a community.
But all of that changed today.
We walked in and were stunned to find a golf simulator set up inside the taproom. Yes, a golf simulator. In a waterfront brewery. It now takes up half the indoor space, and the beautiful marina view — once a hallmark of this location — is completely blocked by a set of black curtains. The ambiance, the openness, the coastal charm — all of it replaced by a glaring screen and a mat where people are swinging golf clubs just feet away from where customers are trying to order a beer.
It was uncomfortable, jarring, and honestly, heartbreaking.
It’s incredibly disappointing to see new management make such a tone-deaf decision that disregards the loyal patrons, the incredible staff, and the authentic community vibe that made Eppig so special. This place used to feel like a second home — and now it feels like a corporate experiment that’s lost its soul.
A true shame.
