You don't know what you've got until it's gone. If you are anywhere near the Mission Valley area of San Diego and need a quick breakfast or lunch (dine in or grab and go), this place is the spot. It's a no-frills deli in an office building and one not to be missed. Everything is made to order, so it is best to order online or call ahead. The owners, Sand and Alan, are always there, and everything is always fresh. Their Asian Chicken Salad or their Tomato Basil Bisque and Grilled Cheese are my favorites. They make a darn good Tuna Melt too. I've been a customer for almost 20 years and have had pretty much everything on their menu. I do not recall anything be bad. During the holidays, sometimes you might find fresh homemade Cannoli's that would give any Italian Grandmother a run for her money. During COVID we moved our office so Executive Deli is no longer near me. I do miss it. Sometime (at least once a month) I will drive over there for lunch and to say hello and let them know they are missed. There aren't any good delis near me that are worth a darn. I knew they were good when I was going there, but now that I am not as close, I sure do miss them. I highly recommend them for the freshness and quality of their food and the wonderful people that serve you!

What a treasure in an easily accessible office park quite close to hotel row. We found just the lunch sandwiches & salads we were looking for at a great price. Delighted we could come back for breakfast. The quality of food is top notch and service very friendly.

The owners are always so kind and friendly and I love how I can grab a quick fresh and healthy lunch so close to work instead of having to jump in my car. I recommend the Rueben and Tuna Panini, love the Cobb Salad and Tortilla Soup, and be sure to order homemade cannolis during the holidays- they are to die for!
