Terrible experience here. First of all the line is absurd, you wait longer in line for food than any ride at SeaWorld. Once you order, you have to wait even more. I ended up waiting even longer after ordering because they just completely forgot about my order, as well as a couple other people. After realizing they skipped our order, we told a staff member and instead of just making sure they make the food, he offered a refund. Why would I want a refund when I paid for all day dining, and already waited an hour for the food? Eventually they finally gave me my food and it was an atrocious burger. Worse than any fast food burger chain.

The all day dining is made so that you have to wait an hour in line to order food
(Need more staff)
Food is marginal at best.

Wish I could give it a zero. You huy a wrist band for $40 where you get a meal every 90 minutes. This place has 1 cash register and the line is out the door forcing you to wait the whole 90 minutes just to get your meal leaving you no time to get enjoy the park

You can see your food sitting under a warmer long before you even order it. So it is half dried out. Why not assemble things when ordered to keep them more fresh??

The got rid of the burger topping bar, which was the reason we went, pickles, pickles, and more pickles....

We actually leave SeaWorld when it's time to eat (unless a good coupon) and go eat at the Zoo.

SeaWorld San Diego has the absolute worst food of any park I have ever been to. I belive it is simply poor management practices.... Such a waste we would visit more and stay longer if there was just good food. But there isn't.

This was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had in San Diego. I understand it’s SeaWorld, and they don’t really care whether guests enjoy the food because they know you’re already here and will probably end up eating somewhere anyway.

Even on a slow weekday after summer break, they only had one cashier open, forcing everyone into a long line. The kitchen staff? Standing around, avoiding eye contact, clearly just passing time. The kitchen workers were literally just taking pre-made food out of the fridge and putting it on plates at the slowest pace I’ve ever seen, slower than a DMV sloth. They don’t give a dime about their customers. Horrible management and leadership.

The food itself was even worse. I paid nearly $130 for what can only be described as overpriced, low-quality fast food. The photos speak for themselves. The only reason I even stayed was because my kids were hungry. I will bring some snacks next time.

SeaWorld should be embarrassed to serve this to paying guests. Absolutely not worth it.

It was the worst restaurant. The hamburger seemed to be made three days ago and the chicken tender was terrible. In particular, the employee, was very unkind and I experienced the worst. Also,The burger bun was all sticked to the package and the food was all made previously. All that I liked about the restaurant was the carbon dioxide that was in the air.

Super bland food. Especially the orange chicken, over half the pieces were just glaze and had zero chicken inside 😭

Eat as a last resort 💀

The most hideous orange chicken I’ve tasted in my life. It tasted way too much like ginger. C’mon just buy some panda express sauce and it would be a success. Rice was tough as well.

I’m really disappointed with my recent visit to Explorer’s Café. I asked the staff for allergen information because my child have dietary restrictions, but unfortunately, no one was able to give me a clear or consistent answer.

I specifically asked about the chicken tenders, and one employee told me the batter contained dairy. But when I checked the official allergen menu, it said there was no dairy in it. This contradiction left me feeling uncertain and unsafe, and I didn’t want to take the risk—so I left without ordering.

It’s incredibly frustrating that none of the staff seemed confident or trained in handling allergen questions. Food safety is not something to take lightly. I really hope Explorer’s Café ensures that at least one team member on shift is trained and can accurately answer allergen-related concerns in the future.

Until then, I unfortunately can’t recommend it to anyone with food allergies or sensitivities.

Rate : I am sorry there is no minus stars so will go with zero
When me and my family were waiting we saw workers just talking and chilling not doing their work. We waited for one hour and thirty minutes. The food tasted like trash and we litterly ate nothing of it. My daughter felt like she was going to throw up. The workers were serving people that ordered after us and served older people before us. The workers are a group of teenagers serving with attitude and not knowing how to respect people. It was a big chaos. The workers were also not saying the orders in order. They just kept chatting and ignoring the big chaos infront of them. This restaurant will ruin your mood and time at seaworld.

One Star — Never Again

I wish I could give zero stars. I ordered a Beyond Burger for $19.99 at Explorer’s Café and what I got was two stale buns and a sad, dry patty that tasted like overcooked cardboard. No lettuce, no tomato, no onion — not even a hint of sauce to save it. It was like biting into a mouthful of dusty regret.

If you enjoy chewing on a flavorless hockey puck sandwiched between dry bread, then by all means, waste your $19.99 here. Otherwise, spare yourself the disappointment and go literally anywhere else.

Complete waste of money and appetite.

Understaffed and slow - food is dry and terrible

Dirty, the food was horrible and that’s an understatement. Syrup on a burger…? Yeah gross.
The workers are lazy and clueless.

Worst food you can eat in the entire world. 20 bucks for bun and a patty, not a single thing apart from it. No lettuce no tomatoes no cheese no sauces no pickles, etc. Just avoid and save money.

It's hard to rate any food at SeaWorld because it's all super expensive. :/

This Cobb salad was a good healthy option. The ingredients tasted good and I enjoyed the different toppings like squash, which I'd never seen on a Cobb salad before.

However, it was tiiiiiny. :(

There was no dressing on it, but there were little packets of ranch available.

I also got a cookie because it was thrown in for free, which was big and also tasted good and was a great soft texture, but way too expensive on the menu price.
