Don’t come here for the food. Seasonings were bland, pita was stale, tomatoes were that pink tasteless kind. My shawarma had slimy, not well cooked chicken skin on it. OTOH our server was a delightful character, and the art on the walls, and poetry on the tables were lovely.

I haven't been so excited about coming back to a restaurant in a really long time. So we came in this morning because I was hungry and we wanted something quick to eat (we had an appointment in 30 minutes). Well, this was not the right place for it. This place is beautiful! The walls are covered in amazing art, it's also a gallery. The owners (who I assume are the ones that are running the place, I may be wrong) are so friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere is so laid back. It's a place to enjoy, not to rush through. We happened to have come in at the same time as another couple and decided to leave and get fast food so we could make it to our appointment. We let our host know since he was approaching us to take our order. I am writing this review to let everyone know of this wonderful place. They offer a wide vegetarian selection in their menu, and their drinks sounded lovely. I'm definitely coming back, I can't wait to try the Turkish coffee and the iced tea with mint!!!

A few great options that were vegan (menu is marked with a"V") including hummus, GREAT falafel, eggplants with tomatoes, and pita bread. Give this place a try if you're vegan. They no longer have the vegan gyro or buffet...

The interior is Gorgeous. It’s a quiet cafe run by two very lovely people who make homemade food and love art and showcase it all over the walls like a cozy gallery. I loved the chicken lemon soup it was simple and light, my tea (available in decaf). The baba ganoush was fresh, and the Mansef incredibly rich so if you like saffron and lemon and cream it is for you. (It was very well made and prepared but I think I’ll try some of the other dishes next time for something lighter).

Wheelchair accessibility: Bathroom is large and has support bars, but sink is rather tall and don’t think a wheelchair could pull up to it. All floors are flat and there is a lot of space

Very friendly owner and staff. However, the food wasn’t good. Tabboule was tasteless. Shish Tawook came as stir fried chicken breast without marination or spices. Nice place, they just need to work on the food quality.

The atmosphere is wonderful. Food is more than great, especially the Mansaf; I felt like I ate from Pure Palestinian homemade. I would definitely come back again and again. Highly recommended

Hummus, salad, babaganoush and vegetarian plate was fresh and delicious. Didn't care for the chicken soup dish. Unique place with the owners paintings displayed.

We ate lunch today at Fairouz! We tried the chicken shawarma, beef shawarma, gyros, and baba ghanoush! Ibrahim and Sarah were delightful.

The owner was a very nice and welcoming person who gave us an overview of his artwork around the restaurant. However, the food test was bad despite having ordered several dishes with exception of salad.

The owner is the sweetest person I've ever met in SD, the place is full with his paintings and poems, he's a talented guy. Unfortunately as a restaurant the food is way below average. As a middle eastern, there were no spices in the meat, food was not cooked properly and unfortunately doesn't seem to differ in the rest of the menu. I really liked the place I hope they improve their food.

Amazing atmosphere with beautiful paintings by the owner on the wall. Enjoyed a lovely conversation with the staff and topped it off with the best Mansaf I've ever had. Will be recommending this place to all my friends and family.
