Ordered from their food cart at a brewery in La Mesa.We had tacos and mullitas. Customer service was GREAT and the food was amazing! Flavored so well and I love all the salsa and topping options. With all the options of tacos in San Diego this is a great place to choose!

Famoso Mexican Street Food is still incredible. The new specials, smoked marlin with cheese and an olive based salsa, and the new take on the lobster taco (rather than just a fried tail which I love too) are amazing. Now he's under a bridge closer to Griffith Park.

Great food the one time I got to go and would definitely suggest trying them out

One of my most treasured spots in SD. I used to come here almost everyday for lunch before I had to leave the city.

Its SO good. And for the price you definitely get a lot to eat. Got the 2 gormet street taco combo with Al Pastor meat and it mightve been the best Ive ever had. The man who served us was so kind and even gave us free churros (not that that's to be expected, it was just so sweet). If I lived here I'm pretty sure I'd become a regular customer :)

Their food used to be amazing, but this last time I went it wasn't so great. Beans were hard/undercooked. Food was lacking in flavor and there was a blob of greasy, melted cheese on the food. Maybe they got a new cook or the cook was having a bad day, but the love and pride that was once obvious in every dish they created seemed to have disappeared. They were an easy 5 stars before, 3 stars now because I want to give them the benefit of the doubt...though the food was 2 stars max.

Delicious!! I want more!! They have combos at a great price. I was full off the #3 and I still had rice and beans left. Tender chicken. Jucy tasting Carne and el pastor. Fresh salsa and practicing Cdc requirements. I will definitely be back

Just visited last week from Phoenix, AZ, stopped by here after our visit to the SD Zoo and was pleasantly surprised. I was even with 3 somewhat picky-eating kids and they all loved it too. It was a great value considering the quality and size of the portions - we had a lot of leftovers. Customer service was great. The green & red sauces were both very flavorful and the hot red sauce packs a serious punch, which I was warned about, but I loved it so I still at a couple of them and enjoyed the burn and sniffles :)
