By far the best ice cream parlor in the region, and in my opinion the best Mexican style fruit bars in the world.

!! Cash only!! Delicious ice cream with unique flavors! The ice cream was light, flavorful, and not too sweet. More on the icy side than the creamy side as Mexican ice cream tends to be (compared to American). I got two scoops for $6. Guava has strong flavor. It was much sweeter than the rice pudding which I preferred. Rice pudding even had flakes on cinnamon in it. On a Sunday afternoon, no line but there were other customers. The singular person working behind the counter was very friendly and gave us samples to try. There are two small tables outside, none inside.

Okay, give yourself a treat, go, and grab some flavorful ice cream minus the fillers of big store ice cream locations. I love the various flavors. It is a cash only location, which prevents over buying. A South Bay staple for the locals.

I've been coming here since I was a little girl. I'm 26 now. My mom and uncles used to come here when they were kids, in the 80's. I think they opened in 77/78. I bring everyone here when they first hit San Diego lol. Since then, the quality is still amazing. They're consistent always with the products they offer. They've expanded their menu like crazy over the years. & The best part, it's homemade ice cream. No preservatives or anything, and if you ask, they'll tell you what they used. The owners/family of the owners are actually very genuine people. I've only ever seen them "rude" to those who came in snarky to begin with, and even then, it wasn't rude - they were just putting their foot down. They went up in price. I remember being able to get a bar for maybe $1.25, and I think they're $4 now. However, that's literally every business experiencing inflation and economy right now. They're one of the only ice cream shops that wait til the very last second to raise their prices, which means they care about customer satisfaction. I genuinely hope, when I have kids, they're still in business, cause I want everyone to be able to experience oasis lol.

Great flavors, great staff. The vibe of this place is fantastic - they have different types of flavors you can't typically get at a regular ice cream place. Highly recommend!

THE BEST!!!!! Family owned and probably the best ice cream my pudgy A** has ever had! Been a fan of this place for decades. My kids have grown up coming here. No matter how far the drive it is worth it.

Rarely do you find an ice cream shop that actually makes their own ice cream and it's great. This is that one. Flavors are amazing, texture is excellent and they have a wide variety. 35+ years in business and there's a good reason! I highly encourage you to try Oasis if you love ice cream. Cash only!

The best decision ever! We stopped in after a day of playing at the beach. The ice cream is homemade (delicious). The business is family owned for over 40 years. And the owner is welcoming and a delight...as good as the ice cream.

Some of the best ice cream I've ever had, and the owners are so sweet and fun to talk to! We will definitely be back if we come back to San Diego.

Tried Guava, Oreo, Chocolate… all tasted really good. I could still feel the guava seeds blended in the ice cream which made it special. They only accept cash, too bad.
