BETTER THAN THE BOX! I usually buy the CPK boxes at the grocery store and shove them in the oven, but nothing can beat the in-restaurant experience. It's soooo much better getting my Mushroom-Pepperoni-Sausage pizza out of a brick oven and fresh! The pizza was super tasty and crispy. We got the regular crust and it blew our minds.
My party and I also tried the salad, it was surprisingly fresh and not too bad! It's the Thai Salad I think? For dessert, we had the Belgian Chocolate Cake w/ Vanilla Ice Cream,. It tasted like a soufflé made in heaven.
Overall, our service was great, our waitress Sofia was very attentive and professional. She kept our drinks full on this hot, hot day. Sofia was also courteous and removed our plates without us asking. She deserves a major shoutout! The other staff were pretty nice too, only a couple of odd balls with staring problems, but not too bad.
The ambiance was relaxed for the most part, there were plenty of families and various age groups. It never got wild. This is a fantastic spot to see a Padres game! I got to watch some of the game here and they had excellent screens at the bar and in the dining room.

The pizza slice I had was outstanding. The best pizza I've ever had.
The slice I had was half the lenght of my arm. Perfect crust, the sauce had great fIavor, the toppings complimented the flavor of the sauce. It was definitely "annointed".

Disappointed with the new Nashville Chicken pizza. Had a total of 6 pickles on it. Chicken was dry and overcooked. Our server Elam was full of jokes but not good service. No refills, and had to flag him down several times.

We had 2 birthdays that were ignored.. We were supposed to get some free butter cake but never did because we bought specific drinks. We got potatoes wedges when smashed potatoes was on the menu. So I guess the menu needs updating.. they offered a salad instead of the smashed potatoes.. this was at the Carmel Mountain location and we had the bar tender for a waiter.. not a great visit at all

Terrible food, terrible service, and the restaurant was malodorous and stinky, likely due to carpet flooring. Who does carpet flooring in a restaurant??? It's full of years of dirt, food spills and germs. The whole experience was terrible. I could hardly wait to get out to get some fresh air, but the service was so bad, they dragged their feet even bringing our checks for payment.

On a bright sunny day after the movies, I took my family for a Sunday lunch at California Pizza Kitchen and it was the perfect choice! It is my first time trying this place here in San Diego and they didn’t disappoint. We wanted to try their mocktails and the Strawberry Mango Cooler was so refreshing. My sister wanted to have some salad and the crunchy Thai Salad is a must try if you are looking for something healthy and tasty! Moving on to their lunch menu, we loved their California Veggie pizza and the wild mushroom pizza with a dash of truffle oil. We had to finish with a dessert and the Belgian chocolate soufflé cake topped it all. This is such a nice place with good ambience, great food and service, all with an affordable price!

I was craving a wedge salad and we had a gift card to CPK. We stopped by for lunch on a Saturday and we decided to sit at the bar. Our lovely server Ana, I believe that was her name, was very prompt and polite. We were watching her hustle behind the counter and man was she graceful! When we were finishing up and paying and before we left she let me try to new watermelon mocktail since she heard me say how delicious it looked. I rarely ever leave reviews, but Ana made our day with her exceptional customer service! The food was great too if you’re wondering!
