Loved this place when they first opened. Was borderline obsessed and would go often for the creme brulee drink. Life got busy and couldn’t come for a while and just recently came and wow what a change. Not busy like they used to be and there is a reason. Boba is insane overcooked now. To the point it’s mush. The brown sugar is just blobs at the bottom of the cup. It won’t even mix in with the milk. I’m sadly disappointed and won’t be returning. There are too many other boba places near by that are better and consistent to try to return here again.

I ordered the Crème Brûlée Dirty Boba, but it was sealed with a plastic film instead of a lid, which prevented me from enjoying the creamy layer on top. This ruined the essence of the drink, leaving me disappointed.

I like this tea spot a lot - friendly staff, the milk tea is great, everything is well-priced. However, I've noticed that a homeless lady comes in from time to time, and harasses the guests. She goes up to them, asks them for change, and if they say no, she asks them to buy them a drink. She continues table-to-table until she pressures someone into buying a drink for her. Then she just paces back-and-forth and talks to herself. She is very rude, (check your cameras for today @ ~6:20pm to see her pacing around for ~10 minutes straight). I will change this review to a 5 star if she is no longer shows up, but I think the owner needs to be aware of this and not allow her to harass the customers.Parking: Lots of parking

There are an abundance of drink options: caffeinated or not. I opted for a mango-yogurt-sago-grapefruit drink that was being advertised on a poster. It was more expensive than the other posted drinks but it was a good combination of flavors and contrasting textures. Even at the regular sweetness level, the drink wasn't cloyingly sweet. The sago was perfectly cooked with a bit of a chew and the grapefruit pulp was evident. I would have only asked that the skin of the segments be left out pieces of it would get stuck in my straw and also left a bitter aftertaste in my mouth. My hubs had a jasmine milk tea with boba. It was decent but nothing special he said. The store has a quiet study environment with a bar top table that faces the window for singles, small tables for pairs and movable tables for larger groups. The instrumental music provided a cafe ambiance without disrupting our train of thought. Other patrons seemed to also desire a quieter environment keeping their voices down as well. Friendly service. Ample parking although spaces were marked for 20 mins of 1 hour only.

Feng Cha is little well-known compared to other boba stores such as Ding Tea or Kung Fu tea. But their drinks are good to compare against them, I like their dirty boba (pretty sweet using brown sugar but the cheese foam is very rich and flavorful) and overflowing grapefruit( this one is the best! Not too sweet, not to sour or bland, perfectly balanced) . Their customer service is also good, welcome and helpful. Plus I like the vibe of the store is good for studying, chilling rather than other stores with noisy music .So this place is a good place to hang out and study!P/s: many of their drinks don't come with boba, but you can add them so make sure to ask for it

Made another stop at Feng Cha today and got the strawberry breeze, mango breeze, and some fries. The strawberry breeze was too sweet even at 50% because of the overwhelmingly sweet lychee jelly. The strawberry flavor was weaker than the lychee flavor. I didn't like this drink very much. The mango breeze on the other hand was delightful! Just a little tart, sweet, and the cheese foam really added to it.I could pass on the fries, even though they weren't bad. They were playing a Ghibli instrumental soundtrack tonight and it was really nice.Even though I didn't like the strawberry breeze drink today, I think it's still a good cafe overall because the space is nice to hang out at. The drinks are overall better at other spots in San Diego, though.

I love coming here to do some work! They have a decent amount of seating and plenty of outlets if you need to stay a while. There's also a high bar table that's kind of like a standing desk. The teas and dessert are delicious too! I usually get the oolong milk tea and I love the rich tea taste. FYI most parking in front of the shop is 1hr or 20min only, go towards the back lot if you are planning for a long stay.

Feng Cha continues to impress with its consistent excellence across all locations. During my visit, the Taro Slush I tried was nothing short of delicious, blending rich flavors into a refreshing treat that satisfied my taste buds. The attention to detail in their offerings extended to their cute Halloween decor, adding a festive touch to the ambiance. The service at Feng Cha was top-notch, reflecting their commitment to customer satisfaction. The staff was friendly, attentive, and efficient, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience. In summary, Feng Cha stands out for its delectable Taro Slush, delightful seasonal decor, and excellent service that remains consistent across all their locations. If you're looking for a reliable and enjoyable boba experience, Feng Cha is definitely a top choice.

The atmosphere of the shop is nice and quiet great for group of friends to hangout or form a study group! I love their Jasmine green tea with cheese foam! They have the best cheese foam ever! It's creamy and fluffy I always ask for double cheese when I get there! Its my goto boba shop!

Good tea but overpriced for the small serving, they could do a lot better by adding some sugar free options to their menu for diabetics or at least sugar free sweeteners and no honey isn't a sugar free sweetener because it's still full of carbohydrates.

They have parking front and back and also a tesla charging station in the same parking lot (left side of the building). There were a couple of people studying on their laptops or doing zoom meetings. Other than that, it is a pretty quiet place; they don't blast their music too loudly. Their store temperature is also not too cold as they don't blast their AC. During the hot summer it was a bit stuffy feeling though. I normally come here for one thing: Dirty Taro. If you like taro, you will like their Dirty Taro because they use real taro and not just powder. The dirty taro comes with real taro smudged all over the side. I got it with 75% sweetness which was still really sweet. If you are watching your sugar intake, you should definitely ask for way less sweetness because most of their drinks are super sweet. But that also means, this would be the perfect place to come to if you are looking for a sweet drink. Overall, the service is really quick even when pretty busy and their drinks are consistent no matter who makes it.
