I've been going to Felipe's for pizza and pasta about 40 years at many of their different locations. They have great pizza, prime rib at the Mira Mesa location. Good spaghetti sandwiches and salads. They're antipasto is fantastic. Highly recommend

Stopped here for lunch while in town on business. The exterior of the building is inviting. The second I walked in, the aroma of the food confirmed that I was going to enjoy the food. The atmosphere is great and I was greeted and seated by a kind gentleman. My waitress, Ellen, was very friendly and she stopped by frequently to see if I needed anything . I ordered the Caesar salad with authentic dressing and enjoyed a personal size pizza with pepperoni and anchovies on the side. The dressing was generous. After enjoying my meal, I was amazed with the very reasonable cost. This is a must visit restaurant.

I haven't been there in about 36 years, took my son there it was his favorite place to eat he loved the giantic meatballs, the food is still awesome, was in another state small town no Filippi's Pizza Grotto

Some of the best pizza in town. Plenty of choices with options to include on pizza. Salads and spaghetti are definitely worth trying. Service is good, with attentive and professional staff. Atmosphere is decent, a bit outdated decor. Plenty of parking with easy in and out access to nearby freeway. Will definitely be returning.

The pizza was great, the staff were pleasant. The problem: They did not wash the cups well enough to remove the soda residue, and the bottom of the plates were unwashed. How can you wash a cup and leave residue in there? Even rinsing a cup would do a better job, making me wonder if they even washed it. I don't care how good the food is, if a restaurant fails to deliver such a simple thing as clean dishes, they don't deserve praise.

We had a luncheon event with 20+ people. Tony was great! Very attentive and kept our food coming and glasses full. OUtstanding service and food. Love it here.

My family can be somewhat difficult for deciding where to eat. However, they all can agree when the suggestion is to go to dinner at Filippi's. The food is good, prices are reasonable (family specials are a particularly good value), and the waitstaff has always been friendly. The parking lot can get busy and full, but there has always been plenty of seating and no real waits to get in for dinner.
