Service always courteous and attentive. Kim have been our server and always been quite a pleasure to have her work there. Fish Grub will be closing 12/18/2021 therefore we needed to make sure we had in saying it's been great in supporting this restaurant.
Decent fish and chips. Reminded me of home somewhat. Wish they offered more traditional chips but they were good nevertheless.
Love this place. Best casual dining. When you're in the mood for fish and chips, fish tacos, or just a cold beer, this is the place. Fries come out nice and hot and crispy every time. So simple and so good.
Great fish and chips! Tasty poke tostadas.
Deep Fried Rock Fisb is Legit! Great prices and dog-friendly patio too
Good food and good people. Was nice to go somewhere that had delicious food without the crowds of downtown.
Great fish & chips with friendly fast service
Inside was spacious and clean. We got the corn chowder and fish and chips and enjoyed both. The prices are a little higher but I feel like portions are shareable so it can still be an affordable option for a night out. We will be back!
We just had an early meal there this evening. We enjoyed two fish (haddock) tacos each and some popcorn chicken with a yummy aioli sauce. It was Happy Hour, so the price was right for dinner and a glass of wine. This was formerly the beloved Szechuan Mandarin Restaurant which closed a year or two ago. The renovations by the new owners are nicely done, and instead of a difficult-to-maintain fish aquarium, as featured in the original restaurant, there's a monitor mounted on the wall featuring a digital aquarium. The tacos were bursting with fish, shredded cabbage and tomatoes. Very good, and we'll be back again to check out the rest of the menu. It's a great day in Grantville, as there's a new fish restaurant in town, and it's mighty tasty. A tip of our cap to Mark, Charlie and Mike who all made us feel right at home.
We had the whole fried tilapia with fries, and the walnut shrimp with veggies. Everything was hot and delicious. The outdoor dining area is clean and very pretty. The service was amazing! We want to go back to try their other dishes!

Drove by this new restaurant many times and finally decided to go in. What a really cool spot! It's pretty new so I think it'll take some time to grow but people need to check it out. The food was very good, we had the Panko Shrimp and the Fish and Chips, very filling, the fish and chips we're crispy and weren't oily. The great thing is the prices were very reasonable and it looks like they have a good happy hour. I'll definitely be back and glad to have finally tried it
Yummy food great good service.
Best Fish and Chips I’ve ever had! Great food and excellent service. Definitely coming back when I’m in SD. Oh, and they have beer
Nicely redone, atmosphere could be a bit brighter, waitress was great at explaining items. I would come again. As with everything elsewhere, prices continue to go up.
The fresh fish special was really good, we all had the Chilian Sea Bass.
