This is about my experience at around 1:30pm on Saturday, January 15, 2022. Ok. I drive for a living so I've ordered in-store "to go" quite a few times in the past at this location, and it's always been good, even through the pandemic. But my experience with the food and service today was so regrettable I must warn others of the seeming drop in quality and food safety. For ownership: It's really a bad thing for a restaurant to ignore customer concerns out-of-hand, especially when they're not trying to get anything out of you, they just want to inform you that the standard you've presented today is the kind that would deter them from coming back. For the employees: if you care so little, please, please, please quit your job. It's better than killing people because of negligence. So, I ordered a large half-and-half with no rice, just vegetables. That plus a bottle of arrowhead set me back $20. Now, I'm ok with that if the quality matches but what I got was frigid cabbage, broccoli florets and chopped carrot rounds (with fuzzy tops included) under lukewarm chicken and beef. If I had to guess I would say the meat was prepared in advance and placed into a holding warmer that was not producing heat and the veggies were added cold to the same warmer (a major no-no). That's something the cook needs to be able to catch before sending food out. The fact this place obviously didn't check food temps at any time prior to serving is not only poor form it's also a huge health code violation because you can easily get people sick this way. I know, I was a professional chef for 19 years. So, being concerned of this I called the establishment and told the person who answered (my guess, the cashier who had taken my initial order) about the condition of my food and was met with the same careless attitude that was put into my meal. No apology, no attempt to inquire any further, just an "okay" and a hang-up. Take it from me, this place is a major health risk and the fact they don't care says it all. Avoid like the plague they might very well spread.

I came in a closing one night 2 weeks ago and this awesome young girl wanted to help me even though they we're almost done with the closing stuff. I have never been here besides this night I always walk by it. She was so awesome I came back and loved it. All the sauces are great and I had the char chicken bowl and really liked it. Great light dinner for anyone looking. I will be back. She made my day. I believe her name was Crystal. Very clean and nice place. Thank you.

Absolute garbage, got a chicken bowl with veggies one yes ONE piece of broccoli in the bowl. 60% is rice. How is this healthy?? Waste of money. And the bowls shrank, same price less foodm like we wouldn't notice ..

This place has the freshest food and friendliest staff. Prices are great. My family of 5 ate there for $50! What a great place and deal.

This place is freaking bomb!!! Best little spot in PB for some great tasting bowls! My wife and I love the Chicken bowl and always get it with avocado! Will be trying the new shrimp bowl next visit for sure. The owners are super rad we had a chance to meet them. We will always get a bowl when in the area. Sometimes I will grab a bowl later in the day and even have it for dinner. Thanks Flame Broiler for staying open and keeping us fed! ????

I called to put in an order for pick-up, I love the food here. Took some time for anyone to answer, and when they did I was able to put in my order for pick-up, they took my name down and everything. Pretty simple right?Upon arriving for pickup, we were told “they couldn’t really hear me, and just decided not to put the order in”....after confirming the order and my name, they couldn’t hear me?!I love the food here, but this is ridiculous, and annoying. Probably won’t be back
Worst Flame broiler. My girlfriend had an outer layer of the avocado in our bowl. Our chicken in our bowl was burnt and I had the end piece of a carrot in my bowl and this burnt over cooked piece of chicken. The cook also forgot to give us our avocado we paid extra for.

The food here is fast and healthy, however the owner is annoying. He always tries to talk to my friends and I. I don’t mind some friendly banter, but sometimes he tries to talk to us for 10+ minutes. Chill dude.

I never feel guilty when I eat here. It's a pretty clean meal. Meats are very lean and veggies aren't overdone. The rice is usually pretty mushy for my liking, though - cooked with way too much water. So now that we're all just doing take-out and eating at home anyway, I usually cook my own rice at home the way I like it, and just get the bowl with protein & veggies.
