Honestly, this place is so underrated it is crazy!!! Some of the absolute best Pho and sushi I have ever had!!! You have got to try the Sushi Burger. Omg!!!!!! I honestly wish I could've ate 2 but 1 is perfect and might even big too big for some people. For me, it was JUST RIGHT AND VERY VERY VERY DELICIOUS!!!

If you're looking for EXCELLENT Sushi, this is the place! The staff is amazing but the owner (who cuts the fish) is down to earth and really cool. Do not miss the opportunity to relax and enjoy an 5 star meal here.

My favorite place to get pho in San Diego! Always consistent and has great flavor. Laid back vibe and servers are always so welcoming. Tarik is wonderful. Love this place so much!

Went in for a quick bite and had a phenomenal experience. Unbelievable great service. I asked Tariq for his recommendation of sashimi. The Yellowtail Carpaccio was out of this world. It literally melted in my mouth. 10/10 for service, food, and atmosphere. Highly recommend coming here.

I don’t know why I didn’t leave a review sooner! We’ve been a regular here at Flamin’ Pho & Sushi Bar three years ago while we were living in downtown, and we haven’t had a chance to go back until today, but we are so glad we did. We saw Sabrina, who’s been a familiar face when we used to come here on a weekly basis, and it was always a good sign that shows how much the business cares about their staff! She welcomed us graciously and when I gave her pictures of our previous go-to orders (I had forgotten their names), she stated them right away in the blink of an eye.

We ordered the Salmon Sunrise Roll, Cherry Blossom Roll, Saigon Spicy Chicken, and we were immediately taken back to nostalgic times because the quality remained impeccable and delicious! We moved to Kearny Mesa where there is an endless array of Japanese and Asian restaurants and have tried them all, but we kept craving Flamin’ Pho, and we were so satisfied with our meal. I’m very glad we came back and everything was perfect as we remembered it.

Our server Hayley helped us out at the end, and she was such a friendly and bubbly waitress that I felt like we have known each other for a longer time! We chatted about the many legitimate Japanese treats at the front of the restaurant for sale and her time in Japan, and I couldn’t help but think that the service here and the food was top-notch.

Keep it up, Flamin’ Pho & Sushi Bar! We will make the trek and come back for sure!

Great place to have Vietnamese food, the staff is super friendly. Also it’s pet friendly!!! which is great for our pets. The portions and not as big as in other places which is great.

Tasty pho and other treats. Great service!

Service was excellent, but the pho was subpar. We tried the chicken pho, the vegetarian pho, and the rare steak pho, and all of them had quite watery and bland broth even after the addition of the toppings and sauces. We did try the calamari as well, which was much tastier, so maybe seafood is their strong suit. Overall, 5 stars for service but 3 for the food.
