Lovely sushi place in downtown San Diego offering Pho as well! The rolls are fresh and the PHO is so yummy! We really enjoyed it. There’s really nothing like California sushi.

I ordered the chicken curry and it was mostly just a very spicy soup with large chunks of onion. There was hardly any chicken. Very disappointing. The house pho wasn’t much better. Not worth $40.

This is a nice little pho and sushi restaurant tucked away at 6th after the freeway on ramp. Sushi and pho are the perfect SoCal combo. I ordered a large bowl of the House special pho (pho dac biet), a small hot sake, and a rainbow roll.Everything was delicious and I was stuffed. The sushi was skillfully and quickly prepared and the deluxe pho had great soup with the right saltiness. On top of that the place is spacious with incredibly high ceilings, great big TVs and cool lights.I'll be back again and I'm sure the spot may be perfect for karaoke, a games night, or even watching sports games or Ru Paul's Drag Race.

We tried the sushi rolls and thought they were delicious! Highly recommend the salmon sunrise roll, the crunchy roll, and the Hawaiian roll. My husband got the vegetarian pho and liked it, but thought he may like the meat pho better because the vegetarian broth wasn’t as flavorful as he’d hoped.

Excellent service and quality food. The house Pho was a 10/10, and so was the sunrise sushi roll, but could use more lemon(only made it on half the roll) but overall the fish was very fresh and I especially appreciate servers who are friendly and both of them were:) casual cozy vibe. My partner and I will definitely be back!

Went in at 8:00pm was asked to sit down & as we were about to look at the menu, we were told they could not serve us anymore because they had closed the kitchen down early due to slow business.

Coming from out of state to visit San Diego, my experience dinning in at Flamin Pho for the first time with my family was great! As soon as we walked in we were greeted and seated by the owner. All the staff were so hospitable and helped us figure out what we’d enjoy best on their menu. Me and my family tried the surf and turf roll, egg rolls, and house special pho with vegetables/ all of which were served fresh, hot, and tasted amazing. Not to mention plated beautifully. Knowing we were visiting, the owner also even went out of his way to write down a couple of cool spots for us to hit up while we were in the area. If in the area I definitely recommend coming here for some Asian fusion!
