The worst food ever. Biryani was not biryani. They added curry on top of white rice and called it biryani. Naan was undercooked. Lamb was undercooked. Chicken tikka was tasteless and undercooked. Save yourself a trip and don't mess your appetite. If there was negative starts I would give them negative stars.

Ordered Paneer Manchurian. Taste is very poor. Doesn't taste like there is paneer in it. Masala taste is bland. Paid $17 for it. That's too pricy. Quantity is very small. I'm not going to this restaurant next time. I highly recommend other restaurants like Charminar, Rasraj and Sattvik Foods over Flavors of India.

Restaurant was very clean and service was top-notch. The food came out quickly and was delicious. We were a family of five and ordered three main dishes and two sides of rice, along with two sides of garlic non-and it was perfect. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Can’t wait to go back.

Nice place. Small but nobody was there. Friendly and good flavors. We look forward to going back. Maybe for the lunch special. Parking is easy.

If you’re looking for a great place for lunch etc flavors of India is a great place to start! It’s in a nice plaza, the owner often checked up on us regarding food and if everything was okay, overall great customer service and food was amazing.

First time here, and the food was very delicious prepared fast and authentic. My wife was looking for some Indian food in San Diego and we found this great site to give the lunch special a try and added a couple samosas was very tasty. Great ambience, very clean, good parking and will definitely come back here next time. We ordered tikka masala go curry, lassi, and couple of Samosa orders also and it was very delicious and prepared fresh

Great little place for Indian. Get a mango lassi with some chicken Tikka masala and you'll be happy.

Got the eggplant and chana masala. The eggplant needed more salt and flavor. Both didn't really have flavor so I wouldn't try others. The mango lassi was good. Nice staff though. And plenty of parking.

Wrong order given and not very flavorful. I ordered takeout for my birthday, while my partner was sick instead of going out. I ordered korma and got what I think was lamb tikka. It wasn't what I ordered which was very disappointing and it wasn't even very good tikka in my opinion. Mango lassi had a really odd aftertaste too which made it undrinkable. Naan was not garlicky- but the veggie samosas did have a nice flavor! They were the only part of the meal I enjoyed- I should've gotten frozen Trader Joe's curry instead

I loved the Chicken Manchurian (Gravy) and the Chili Chicken (Gravy). They both had delicious flavor. Both are in the Indo-Chinese section of the menu. I have had food delivered twice now. The Dry Chicken Manchurian was a bit too dry for me but had good taste. The Naan is very good. The one with chilis is spicy! And the one with cheese was nice but not amazing.I want to try some of the actual Indian food, like the Korma looks so good. And so does the Chow Mein. I love that they have Indo-Chinese food on the menu. I will definitely order from here again when I am craving this type of food. It's not the most amazing, but it's awfully comforting and well prepared.

Hope next time is better ( counting on the other positive review). I really wanted to like this new restaurant, but the paneer Manchurian gravy was a disappointment after spending $17 , watery and just a plain tomato gravy :(

This storefront has changed names several times. The latest incarnation of this restaurant is Flavors of India. This restaurant has the by far the best food yet. We have a choice for mild, medium and spicy and they are very consistent. This is important when you are sharing food with someone who doesn't want to eat very spicy food. I've always done takeout: Chicken Biriyani: Delicious! They give you a good portion of chicken - much more than the takeout food I've bought from other restaurants in the area. Dhaba Chicken: A rich, flavorful curry. Again, the chicken portions are generous. Potato Tikkis: Delicious potato patties with a flavorful filling Vegetable Korma: A mild creamy curry filled with vegetables The curries come with a serving of white basmati rice. You can eat in the small restaurant or outdoors on the patio - they have a few tables with umbrellas. The owner is a very nice gentleman who patiently answers all my questions. Give this place a try
