We have stayed at HR Hotel before and this was a major step back. Weather was in the 60’s so the hotel decided no outdoor amenities would be provided. No fire tables outdoor heaters by pool no pool side bar. Basically paid for an upscale holiday in express. Rooms were clean and comfortable

Great staff and great service. Rooms are immaculate and comfortable. Bar are open late and the gym area is great to support a general workout. Checkin/out was quick and available any time of day which makes it easy when you come in late or need to leave early to catch your flight.

The Hard Roll property in the Gas Lamp District in San Diego is a great place to stay. Customer service goes above and beyond. The location is great, rooms are spacious and well appointed. The conference space was perfect!

Highly recommend! Staff was exceptional and the hotel was clean! We were there with our 13 year old and had a great time. Something different from our normal hotel stays. A lot of restaurant choices in walking distance. Petco Park tour was on our bucket list and about a 2 min walk.

Room and staff were lovely. Hotel was clean and very nice. However it's been a week since I checked out, card was charged, no emailed receipt or email responding to my receipt request. Wouldn't be a problem if there wasn't more than the room and the deposit taken out, so I'd like to see why. If hard rock sees my review, is still like my receipt please! Lol I'd love to stay again with hard rock but this incident being unresolved makes me want to look elsewhere next time unfortunately.

I want to specifically thank Mickey (manager) who helped me get out of an unfortunate situation upon my arrival. Long story short I was promised two rooms which were unable to be delivered upon arrival. Mickey was professional, calm, cool and collected as I unfolded my situation onto him. He was able to provide our party of 5 with a compromise that I dearly appreciated. He put himself in my shoes because of something I was overpromised and underdelivered and came through. Thank you for avoiding making our trip start on a bad note. Much appreciated Mickey.

Dirty Rooms. Dated. Not like pictures. I promise you. The entry level downstairs was top notch but that's about it. Paint clippings, door of fridge hanging. Not interested in staying here again. I'll stick with what I know like the Omni Dallas. Bcuz the pictures be a whole lie!

Great location. Rooms are spacious, clean, and cozy and nice. Carpets need to be changed. Not the friendliest concierge but overall a recommended stay. Lots of night parties in the rooms so not the quietest hotel if that's what you're looking for (but crowd is fine....just there for party).
Staff were all very friendly and attentive. The room was very comfortable. Location is great, right beside Fifth and down by the waterfront. The hotel had all the amenities I like such as a decent gym, hot tub and pool. We were their for business meeting and the food served was good. Meeting rooms met all our needs.

The staff could not fix a simple credit card issue: swapping personal to business card and charged on personal despite az authorisation form. The atmosphere is good for party and limos but not great for a relaxed stay.

We have stayed at this hotel several times and it is always fun. Our last visit, however, hit a "speed bump", but the staff at the hotel resolved the issue for us. Mary Jane's restaurant is delicious, and the rock lyrics and photos scattered around the building are great! The location in San Diego right in an area that is walkable entertainment. Great atmosphere!

Both room and business conference rooms made for a great experience. Very friendly and helpful staff. Conference room and food for conference was very good. Nobu was excellent, also with friendly staff and a great environment.

This hotel was beautiful and in a great location. However, the main reason we chose this place was because of the roof top bar/pool that said would be open at the time I booked our trip. Every time we would try to go to the bar, it was closed or closed for private event. This hotel is way too expensive to not be able to use all its amenities!!!
