Great beans. Just know that if you inquire about the roast date on their packaged beans, the barista will go out their way and educate you and go round and round about “it’s not about the freshness of the beans” in a condescending tone instead of giving you the answer, like only the barista at Flor and Seed cafe at Old Town SD knows how to preserve and savor coffee beans.

This coffee shop is wonderful! Not only is the coffee top of the line with flavor but the staff are incredibly kind. I had a work trip that took me to San Diego recently and I would walk a few miles to this shop every morning just for the beautiful experience this place gives. It was the perfect way to start the day! When I came back I actually ordered bags of coffee as gifts for family for the holidays and a few for myself as well (it's that good yall!) but somehow mine never came so I wrote the staff and they sent me two bags just to make up for my lost package. These are the sweetest people. Thank you for being such a great coffee shop!

Did not try the food. However, I ordered the vanilla latte with Mexican Chocolate added to the iced latte. Oat milk sub. Ver good. I could have used a little bit less sweetness and it would have been perfect for my sweet taste. Very nice coffee spot !

Excellent coffee, including some unusual specialty drinks made with regional ingredients. Very friendly staff & un-crowded seating, perfect for a stop-off while walking around. Unquestionably your best option for coffee in Old Town.

Super kind people and excellent coffee. I ordered a latte de olla which was sooo delicious & creamy. I also brought an iced dulce latte and coffee cake to my bf and he loved it. Definitely coming back to this place when I can.

favorite cafe when visitng Old Town! awesome staff and great cafe. y tiene cultura! look how badass that lucha libre logo is! I always buy a mug and some stickers. would love to get more merchandise like hat and t shirts but they are so good always sold out. next time!
