It's been a long time since I've been to this restaurant. I can't remember what the other name they called it. Hope it hasn't changed the food very much.
Thank you for everything on my son's visit that day. We had so much fun that day. Miss Gail Ann

Parking: I'm handicap so it's hard for my son's to find a handicap parking, where I don't have to walk very far..
Thank you for all your help

Wheelchair accessibility: I use a wheelchair walker. So my two sons have to find a place that's close for me to walk, with out getting out of oxygen all the time.
Thank you so very much

We came and visited the gift shop in the natural history museum. Within the gift shop is this café and it was really cute. We got a small cup of iced tea of some flavor, but I don’t remember. It had berries or something in it. It was really good. The person that made it and served it was very nice. We didn’t get any food, but I bet it would be good. Overall, we had a really nice experience here.

awful awful awful awful. i was with 7 people and no one could finish their meal because of how bad it tasted. and the dishes were priced around $$. they are located in the museum such that, because the multiple double-doors are open, when it's inclement at all it's freezing (or presumably sweltering) in the hallway the tables are jammed into.

Tea tasted fine, but was served “McDonalds SCALDING law suit”-HOT. I had to wait 10-15 minutes to begin sipping. I was worried about dropping it bc it was so hot through the container w a sleeve.

The Flying Squirrel Cafe is a small, but nice cafe in the first floor of the San Diego Natural History Museum. The menu is very simple, but has enough variety for just about anyone looking for a hot drink, refreshments or a quick bit to eat. We had the soup of the day (Lentil Soup today) and the Fire Bird Sandwich. Everything was very nicely prepared. The staff is very friendly and helpful with any questions regarding the menu. Overall, good experience and I recommend Flying Squirrel Cafe...and the Natural History Museum!

Friendly staff, top shelf grilled cheese is really really good. Espresso is very very bitter. I wasn't a fan but if you like that then you would like it. Wait time was about 7 to 10 minutes for the sandwich. Prices were reasonable.
