Food was terrible. We booked the good seating, but they made us sit in the stool. I won't go back here Drinks was OK.noise level better. Only one attender was taking care of all the guest. She is good, but they should add a more employees.
Nate was amazing, he made us amazing custom drinks. We will be returning for more of his cocktails.
Went on a weekend wanting to try a new place. Made a reservation and had to wait around 40 min. to get in. They sat us (party of 3) at the very end by an employee entrance/exit. Ordered 3 cocktails, had to wait around 20 min for them. Their decor is pretty nice and colorful. Unfortunately their bathroom was not in “great” condition. It was dirty and flooded. Overall not a good 1st experience. The Killowat (main bar) was pretty nice. Drinks were good and a reasonable price. Highly recommend their old fashioned. The bar tender was really cool. Bathrooms were clean too.
Just come for the yummy drinks! Fun place for happy hour but very limited menu that was just okay. The waiter was great but had no help.
We had a party of 9. I felt like this place isn't suited for a large group. Fun, but nothing special.
Great food. Strong drinks. Great ambience. Loved the secret passage. The dim lighting and chicharron wassssss so good!
Nate was a great bartender and server. The tiki drinks were amazing and the pork sliders were great
The ambiance was nice, but over all the place seemed cheap. Food & drinks weren't good either. Go somewhere else.
Our group of 5 had fun at Forbidden Cove. The service was fantastic, and all our servers seemed genuinely dedicated to us having a great experience. Decor and black light effects made it extra secret. I love the whole speakeasy idea. Food: Two of us had Spam tacos (mine were Luau), with Mac Salad and Cucumber, which were really tasty. Two diners had the Poke tower and they were delicious as well. One ordered pork sliders, and he thought they were very tasty and satisfying. Drinks were all very good, a bit heavy on the ice if there was a criticism. Great time was had by all!
Im a little hesitant to write this review, but only because I want to keep it a secret. This place was so cool, so fun, and had a such a chill vibe. Great drinks. Great atmosphere. Definitely need to make reservations. We had a Chi Chi and a painkiller drink. Both were amazing. We will be back. Its a great date night. More of drink/cocktail spot than a dinner spot.

We really enjoyed the ambience. Our server was attentive, and the food and drinks delicious. We will definitely be back. Make sure to make reservations beforehand it is a small restaurant and will fill up fast on weekends.
Really cool atmosphere! Service was great, food was tasty and good portion. Loved the decor!! Only suggestion would be to please use less ice in the cocktails/drinks :-)
Was super disappointed. The staff seemed clueless. I didn't make a reservation since all time slots were available, it looked pretty wide open. When we got there, the brewery bartender told us they are super busy, standing room only. Told us it would be a 5 minute wait. 15 minutes later, we were given vague directions on where to go. When we went back- there was literally 1 table seated. The tiki room bartender did not want us at a table. He insisted against it repeatedly stating he had a ton of reservations. Well, during our 15 minute wait, I made a reservation for 5:30pm. When I told him this, he still didn't want to give us a table. I showed him my reservation and he gave us the tiniest spot they had and told me my 90 minutes started when I walked in. Ambiance was great. Potential is great. Space is super small. Staff lies to your face and gaslights you like you're incapable of coherent thought. Dinks are over priced and the bartender has to read the description to tell you what's in anything- even the Mai Tai. He didn't seem to know his liquors at all, seemed confused when I asked about the 151 floater and kept repeating some no name rum to me. Anyhow, glad we tried it but won't be going back. Again, super disappointed. I had high hopes.
This place has great potential. They were short staffed and service was very friendly but slow. We went there for an anniversary dinner. We ordered drinks and an appetizer-which was fair-but needed more flavor. By the time we were able to order a second round and dinner-we were informed that the kitchen was closing because they were behind and it may take 20-25 minutes to get our dinner. We ordered anyway. Thirty minutes later, the waitress came back and said she forgot to ask what sides we wanted. When questioned, she said that the dinner had not been started yet. So we cancelled it. The drinks were OK-but would not make me really recommend them. The atmosphere was Fantastic. We ended up picking up Arby's on the way home.
Severely understaffed. We had a 5pm reservation, checked in on time, and were not seated until 5:30pm-- and the place was not even close to full. Bartender at Kilowatt was clearly not trained and very slow. Server inside the Cove was overwhelmed and seemed to be waiting tables and making the drinks by himself. We were then waited on by a trainee who was alone on her first day. The floors were uncomfortably sticky and made loud sounds when people walked. The ambiance was just ok-- some cool stuff but kitchen/bartender supplies were left in plain view which killed the vibe. Food was good-- which was our saving grace.
