Cool concept, but the drinks (at least) leave something to be desired. Scorpion bowl and painkiller were both pretty tart/bitter, not tasty or sweet.

I booked this reservation for our 20 year anniversary. We got married in Maui so the theme was spot on. We had such a great time. The ambiance and staff are nothing short of fun and amazing. I appreciate the time we spent there! Thank you!

Vibe was awesome. Definitely more of a local scene. Hostess was great. We only came by for drinks but had a great time regardless. Front end (Kilowatt Brewery) also had great vibes. Would come back again! (Also, glad to find another speakeasy that isn't owned by Consortium Holdings.

Amazing food and drinks, but admin needs to stop cutting corners and hire more people. We reserved a seat at the bar and ended up eating at what can only be described as a TV rack. The place was empty, but they still didn’t let us move to a normal setting place. When you have ONE bartender/bar back/host in one place (the brewery) and ONE waitress/hostess/admin in the other bar, I’m pretty sure it’s time to hire more people.

Everything about this tiki bar was great! Being allowed in is the start of the fun. You just have a reservation and all of your party must be present before you ask the bartender in the brew pub. You receive the key to a magical place. Tiki culture is about escape and this place captures it. The drinks were amazing. Food great. We had a great time!

The drinks here are good but they put way too much ice in a lot of them. They are fun though. The ambiance was nice, with the Tiki vibes. The food is mainly Polynesian. I had the pork sliders and they were very good! The Polynesian hot dog was a hit as well. Good food with decent portions. I would definitely go back!

Really Vibrant environment and super friendly service. Tried the scorpion bowl and the nachos, others with us tried the sliders, the pain killer, and a banana drink. Overall great time, but it gets really hot and stuffy in there so I suggest light clothing.

I arrived early by 30 minutes and was confused with the greeting I received. I checked in 15 minutes before and was told to return at the exact time. My party was there first but we were sat after two other parties were allowed in. The prices of the drinks were very costly ($19 for my drink). And the other parties were sat right beside us so it was not very quiet. The food was very good and once we sat inside of the cove, our server was very attentive and kind.

Forbidden Cove is such an awesome place! The drinks were fantastic, as was the service! We brought in a fairly large group and they were able to accommodate us efficiently and attentively. The decor and entrance is so fun! Definitely returning!
