so good!! the service was great, servers were all really attentive and it was fairly easy to get their attention. everything we ordered hit the spot i absolutely loved their R&D ramen and the spicy marinated BBQ pork. the portions r HUGE, we ate so much and still had leftovers to bring home. all the food was so flavorful and delicious, super hearty and delicious meal. def one of my fav Korean places ive tried in the area, would STRONGLY recommend!!

we love this place. but stopped coming here for a while because parking is a pain and they stopped serving my favorite dish, pork bone stew. when i found out they were serving again, we had to come back. the owner recognized us and welcomed us back. the side dishes were very good. and i got my order of gamjatang and my wife had the kimchi jjigae. our favorite dishes. and the parking is easier for lunch so we'll definitely be back for it again!!

Wanted to get something quick before catching our flight. Lots to choose from on Convoy and we decided to try this this place. Always looking for a good Korean restaurant that serves good tofu soup. Honestly the soup was really good. It had a smoky aroma to it filled with tofu , pork (we selected) and veggies. I didn't know that we get an egg especially after reading some of the other reviews, so we didn't get an egg. They seem to be short staffed or extremely busy, but not with customers. We did order the tteokbokki with ramen. It came with sausage, tho it reminded me of hotdogs. It was good and spicy but definitely the tofu soup was good. The banchan was ok.

This place is so good! Huge portions and great service. I loved the bibimbap bowl! The only thing is that the Korean bbq seemed pretty pricey. I would stick to the bowls and other things.

friendly servers and neat dining space. Ordered the rice cake and dumpling soup (R + D soup) and tofu soup. Highly recommend this spot!

Felt like getting some Korean tofu stew today. So we headed to Asian food central in San Diego - Convoy. They have a parking lot but its Convoy. You'll have a better chance hitting the lottery than finding a parking spot in the parking lot the restaurant is in. Street parking it is! We ordered the seafood pancake, spicy rice cakes with added ramen (for additional charge) and tofu stew. Of course all orders came with banchan. The seafood pancakes were ok. Kind of flat (literally) and missing of flavor. But pancake none the less. The rice cakes on the other hand were not missing any flavors as it packed a small heat in every bite with the sauce. I probably would've skipped the saussage (first time I've had this with saussage) and asked for cheese or something. This dish did not have cheese. The tofu stew with the banchan really hit the spot. Lots of big chunks of pork and veggies in there. They serve the egg already in the tofu so ask for the egg on the side if you like it done in another way. The rice came first with the banchan, ask for the bowl lid to keep your rice warm. There's definitely a good few minutes between when the rice hits your table and when the tofu arrives. The wait staff were all friendly but stretched a bit thin. They had the inside to serve and the outside. Overall, I like this place. I definitely would recommend this place and would return. I'd like to try the large Korean hot pot next time I return with more people at the table.

I was seated relatively quickly for a weekday dinner. I got dumplings and japchae. The dumplings were well complimented with the slightly spicy soy sauce. The japchae was best eaten with a spoon, but it was just the right amount of sweetness. However, don't expect any banchan refills unless upon request. The banchan was mostly different types of kimchi - there was only one non spicy banchan available. I also like the decor and furniture style here. It makes the place feel very traditional and cozy when you walks in here. Would definitely come again if I happen to be in the area.

The food was soooo good and is always so comforting. I ordered the stone pot bibimbap and the tofu soup with kimchi. Our order came with unlimited banchan, including Napa cabbage kimchi, pickled radish, spicy bean sprouts, fish cake, broccoli salad, potatoes, and sesame oil rice paper. The restaurant was pretty busy for the Sunday dinner service but the servers checked in on us often. Although I ordered the tofu soup with kimchi they gave me the wrong order-- seafood soup. I still enjoyed my meal but will try something else next time.

yummy food! i got the kimchi soup and it came with a very good portion of meat, tofu, and vegetables! the vibes are very nice inside,, casual and calm. Not very busy when we went and easy parking. The side dishes were also plentiful and tasted great! would definitely go again.

As a Korean, I can say the chef doesn't know the original korean food taste. We ordered tofu soup and bibimbab. Tofu soup taste was the middle of Korean soup and Mexican pozole. Bibimbab was acceptable. But the side dish was not good and fresh. So if you want to eat the original taste, please consider another choice. But if you want to eat localized Korean food, it might be an option.

I am very concerned about the food quality. I got an upset stomach after dinner with it! Will never never never come back again. It almost ruined my trip in San Diego! Really bad experience there also. No any service at all. Food are coming but no any utensils on the table. Really bad experience . I don’t know why there is such a high ratings. The seafood pancake is the worst I have ever had. And the squils inside are the main potential cause of my upset stomach. The fried rice is just so so. And all the small plates are not fresh at all. Really bad experience
