Fruitlandia’s a little neighborhood gem I only discovered recently, but now I’m there almost every day for the strawberry water—it’s that good. The ceviche and fruit salad are solid too, but I’ll admit, I don’t know what half the menu is. The food’s great, but it’d be even better if they had an English menu or a few descriptions for people like me who don’t know their mangonadas from their chamoyadas.
Service can be slow, but that’s only because they actually take time to chat with customers. The staff are friendly, happy to explain menu items if you ask, and there’s always ample seating if you want to hang out. They even have a restroom they’ll unlock if you ask, which is a nice touch for a small spot like this.
Overall, I love it here, but a little translation might help people like me try more than just the strawberry water and maybe even stick around a bit longer.
Parking: The entrance to the parking garage is on 43rd St or Fairmount Ave. the parking garage serves the entire shopping complex consisting of Fruitlandia, Walgreens, a Mexican restaurant, and an optician’s office.

Crack!!! All of it!! Strawberries and cream, chamango, fruit salad, and ceviche. This place makes me miss home so bad!! That strawberries and cream and fruit salad carried me through my pregnancy.

I worked there a long time ago and had to sue the owner for poor treatment and lack of payment. Horrible treatment. I don't recommend it at all.

We are regular customers here i just came today for a pick up order mind you we always get the ceviche this time it tasted spoiled. I went to return it I had told the older lady that works there about the issue.she said that’s impossible that she had made it today and seemed to get offended. if she didn’t want to return the money at least to ask if we wanted something else in return because it’s not about the money. It’s about speaking up when something is not right. plus the fact that we come and support this small business like every other week spending like $40 & over and for them to act like that appalls me sadly I won’t be coming in here no more because of that incident.
