Counter service joint for cheese steak sandwiches and a variety of other sandwiches. The cheese steak was fine but nothing to write home about. It had a bit of grisle and was oversalted, but if you're craving a cheese steak sando, it does the trick. Portions are large. The fries were crispy. Service was friendly and fast.

Smell like a nail salon. Lost my appetite for my food eating here. So sad because this place is amazing and have the best cheesesteak in town.

Gaglione's cheesesteaks are (obviously) the best in San Diego. My mom's from Philly and I've been many times, and I still think Gaglione's makes the best cheesesteak I've ever had. It's a fairly small shop but the vibes are great, you're greeted with smiles and hellos when you walk in and the staff is just awesome. I wish I could remember the name of the gal who took our order (Feb 29 around 1pm?), she was just so sweet and helpful. She even came outside to bring us our food because we're not the brightest apparently and didn't realize we could not hear the orders being yelled out from outside. One of my favorite places to eat in San Diego and I will always recommend it!!

I ordered a mushroom cheesesteak. It was awesome and then we also got a pizza cheesesteak and that was awesome. It was nice and hot and ready when we got there. No complaints. Definitely will order from there

My "go to meal" for years! And it's still on point! The turkey is fresh, not sliced but chunks. That's what makes it so yummy! You can't see the avocados in the sandwich but they're in there.

Had their food at snapdragon stadium when it first opened and it was awful. Pre cooked and stuck in warmer, actually for the price they are asking I would've expected it fresh.

Hot and fresh food for a reasonable price. Sandwhiches are always made fresh right in front of you and the staff is always friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend this place if you are in the mood for a great hot philly steak.

First time ordering from this place a couple weeks ago. I ordered the Sophia Loren 17"... Ohhh man! Delicious. I did order some extra jalapeños in the sand which. Difficult to get back to work after a lunch like that. There was enough ingredients that fell off the sand which to scoop up with my chips and make a second meal. The cashier ( I forgot her name) was lively and very helpful. She gave an awesome representation of the company. I phoned in the order but very easy going yet motivated environment inside the restaurant. Very cool ambiance. Will absolutely order again. No picture this time.

My homie from Philly put me onto this spot. And after eating the Philly Cheese Steak and The Works from this place, I'm about to take his Philly card away. This place was okay at best. I didn't think it was that good. Definitely not good enough to call me after he had it just to tell me how good it was. Now for San Diego it might be the closest thing to home for him but I was super disappointed. I think the bread was very soggy which ruined it from the get go. That's the foundation. Without that, might as well just eat soup. The meat wasn't too bad but felt like it was missing flavor. Prob needed more seasoning other than salt and pepper or needs to be marinated. Even the toppings and sauces they used felt like it didn't really match the sub itself. The people working there was super nice. Helped me decide which two to get which was nice. And when I hesitated and took an extra few minutes to decide they were patient. I came around 5pm and it seemed like anybody else who came in after me had already placed their order online. There's a few spots to sit outside and inside there are a dozen or so tables. Its not a romantic spot but more like a quick place to eat lunch. If you ever been in a subway or Burger King then you get the gist of how this place feels. 2 stars barely because the food was barely okay.

I love the works with steak. Add some jalapeños to spice it up! It's also super good if you add cheese whiz with the American cheese too for an extra special treat!
