Food is amazing..best refried beans in San Diego..wet burritos are amazing
This place is more miss than hit. I gave this place a couple of chances before assuming the worst but every time I order from this place, something is wrong. The first time, I called in an order for pick up so I can be quick. I arrive, pay for my order, and the next customer orders the same thing and when the order is ready, she ends up giving the burrito to that same customer. The second time, I order a breakfast burrito with bacon and she charges me for the wrong item( which happens to be more) and the burrito was small. The last time and final straw that made me want to write this review, had to be the customer service.

Best Mexican food in City Heights. Great camarones dishes except they leave the shells on. It looks fancy but makes for messy eating.Parking: The small parking lot requires creative parking.

This place deserves 6 stars! Best Mexican food in San Diego, all those fancy places ain’t got nothin on Gallego’s! Pollo Asado Chimichanga was killer! Can’t wait to try their breakfast!

Went for the menudo and it was delicious!! Perfect way to start the morning. Small restaurant, incredibly friendly & made sure I was taken care of.
