Enjoyed a lunch with Garage Kitchen and Bar with Friends. It is really nice rustic atmosphere with a full bar and seating for about 100 people. During football season it is home of the Minnesota vikings. It has plenty of atmosphere and plenty of viewing screens for sporting events. The restroom are clean. The host and service team are very good. The kitchen and bar get your items out quickly. They check on you often which is appreciated. It's often crowded and worth the wait. A solid menu of bar food and select entree dishes. Their specials definitely attract people. Drink and food specials throughout the week. It's popular. The manager Clifford is very active being sure your experience is satisfying. Today we went for the $6 hamburger and fries combo special for lunch service. It's an amazing value and is very tasty. A solid burger at any price and they have good wings as well. If your a drinker their pricing and specials are a great value. Check their Instagram and Facebook. We highly recommend the Garage Kitchen for a good time.

This place is awesome. I came for a Vikings game and had a blast. The food was great and they have deals for burgers that are so cheap they make Mcdonalds feel expensive. I would gladly come here again for another football Sunday. They had most of the morning games on which was wild considering they are a Vikings bar. My only downside is the servers were cool but they have deals based on time of day and when I was 3 mins till the deal started they made me wait to order but then did not come by for another 20 mins and then the food came out 30 mins later. Which was a huge bummer.

Found this spot by accident while hunting for Happy Hour! Garage Kitchen + Bar has an amazing $6 burger special that is a total win—it was huge, fresh, and came with a ton of fries which had some kind of delicious seasoning on it as well. Their margaritas are also spot on (not too sugary, just enough alcohol). I really loved the vibe, friendly service and the high energy of the restaurant. If you're looking for a great, cheap happy hour option in SD, check this place out!

Cool place but, I left a cigar on the outside table with a guy smoking a cigarette and I went in and ordered. Got a beer and flatbread and order was taken right away. Went to the bathroom and employee from kitchen came out right behind me on the way to the bathroom. Entered bathroom and he went into stall when I went to urinal and he hawked 3 massive loogies while pissing. He then came out of the stall and walked right back to the kitchen and never washed his hands. I came out to get my cigar and the guy smoking said employee took my cigar and threw it away and he even said I’m coming right back. Gross, now I don’t even want to eat the $20 flatbread after that.

Lost my business forever. I live 2 blocks away and come almost every weekend. I was able to look past their pre mixed mimosas. However their host is terrible. There were 3 empty tables and my friend and I were asked to leave. I do understand if maybe we were being loud (we were dancing and singing, I specifically come here for the music + football so I didn’t think being loud was a problem). However we were trying to drink our water and finish our fries to help sober up. I’ve never been asked to leave a bar anywhere in gaslamp (especially with zero customers waiting). For future customers, go up a couple more bars to GOODNIGHT JOHN BOY, better customer service and a safer atmosphere for women. I will miss the burgers here, but not worth it dealing with that host

I ordered the Tex-Mex Burger, and it was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The jalapeños added a great kick without overpowering the other flavors. Their French fries were also a standout—crispy, golden, and clearly made in-house, not the frozen kind you find at most places.
The vibe was laid-back and fun, and the staff made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be back to try more from the menu on my next visit!

Love the Garage!!! Hands down...the best happy hour in Gaslamp. They offer 51% off food and drink from 4pm to 7pm.....the meatballs, chicken wings and flatbread pizza are amazing. Tom is one of the bartenders, make sure to ask for him and say James Hickey sent you.

Go!! I am 100% not a sports fan and having TVs on the wall multiple games showing doesn't really mean anything to me. HOWEVER we went based on the reviews and I 100% can confirm the food is incredible. Like every bite delicious. I had the spicy shrimp tacos that were on the appetizer menu $12 three of the best tacos I've had and I'm hispanic, even the Spanish rice was cooked perfectly. My fiance had the burger and he said it was easily one of the best burgers he's ever had! I don't know what magic they're putting in the sauce here but they are killing it. Absolutely come in for the delicious food and if you're a sports fan bonus. Also our server could not have been more attentive, sweet and engaging. 10/10
