We went to Garibaldi on a rainy, chilly night, so no rooftop patio experience. That said, the interior restaurant is lovely; small but not crowded, very welcoming. Our server Kelsey was terrific, very knowledgeable about the food. We ordered Zummus and Couscous Royale. The zummus was what I think of as hummus, and it was great; had fresh chickpeas and spicy zhoug on top. The couscous royale had two merguez sausages, a large chunk of lamb, a small chicken quarter (thigh and leg) and a variety of vegetables. Plenty for two! My husband asked for, and got, some harissa for it which made it next level. The wine list was exclusively Mediterranean, which was fun as we were not familiar with many of the bottles. We were very pleased with the meal and will be back!

Dinnner experience. Our server David was very polite and attentive to our needs. Great service from him. The view is spectacular!!! Great atmosphere! Sunset with a cooling breeze. The food was okay. The whipped feta is a must ! And the lamb chops were outstanding! We ordered the tuna tartare and this was the only disappointing experience. The flavors were extremely strong lacking the tuna flavor.

We had the most wonderful date night at Garibaldi. From the moment we sat down, David made us feel completely taken care of — attentive without being intrusive, thoughtful, and genuinely kind.
The food was absolutely phenomenal — every bite felt special. The smoked chicory salad was bursting with flavor, and the whole pan-fried branzino was the showstopper of the night — perfectly crispy skin, tender meat, and beautifully presented.
The ocean view was stunning, and the speakeasy atmosphere added such a romantic touch — intimate, elegant, and full of charm. Together with David’s excellent service, it made for a truly unforgettable evening. We can’t wait to come back.
