John Wayne combo three meats…. Ribs meant one really DRY old RIB… chicken cold, tri-tip like beef jerky (rib too) server replace cold chicken… no flavor at all
look forward to trying… wouldn’t return… per my girl, only thing moist about our meal was the water… may have been good at one time?

It’s a somewhat shabby pub with OK food. Not bad, and it’s inexpensive, with a decent beer list.

Pathetic excuse for a tri-tip sandwich. Worst I’ve had in CA - only competition is east coast where they don’t know anything g about bbq. Like they sold me a roast beef sandwich. Go somewhere else

Delicious food, best rib sandwich I've ever had. Bartender was curtious and very knowledgeable. Will definitely be returning!

Tri tip was bad. Thin sliced and seemed as though it was purchased from the frozen section at the local grocery store. Chicken tasted like it was frozen. Sorry, food was just not good.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Only BBQ Worth Stopping For in the Gaslamp!
They don’t just have the best beef ribs down here — they have the only beef ribs down here. And the chef smokes them over red oak wood?! Unreal. Fall-off-the-bone tender, perfectly seasoned, and legit BBQ flavor all the way through.
This place is my new go-to anytime I’m visiting from Florida.

Great place, food's good and is a good point for local bbq, sides could use a bit of improvement, but all 'round 4.7/5

Cool spot for drinks, however, the food wasn't that great. Chicken was over cooked and chewy.. The Tri-tip was thin sliced and tasted old, possibly sitting under a food heating lamp. Baked beans were good though. The meat didn't taste like it was smoked. Friend said the pulled pork sliders were good.

Gaslamp BBQ was fantastic! The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked — the burger was especially amazing, juicy, and packed with flavor. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, right in the heart of the Gaslamp area. Definitely a great spot to grab a delicious meal and unwind after exploring downtown San Diego!

Needed a quick bite before heading to the airport. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich & fries. Nothing too heavy. Reasonably priced, good service, food was ok.

There aren't many BBQ places downtown, but Gaslamp BBQ is a great place to choice.
