A bbq place that doesn’t smell like bbq. Worst bbq I’ve ever had. Tasted pre made the microwaved. The beer was stale and the server was unwelcoming.

Probably the worst bbq in SD, small portion for the price and the meat were mostly dry. Wouldn't be back even if it's free.

Good place for BBQ. In my case I enjoyed the baby back ribs (half a portion is enough for one person) with a couple of IPAs. Good seasoning, soft and with plenty of meat. The place looks old and a little dark, it has TVs to watch sports.
Overall I give 5 stars for the food and good service.

The food is ok. A little greasy especially for BBQ.

First time here and felt it was way over priced for what you got. The food left a bad taste in my mouth that made it where I couldn't finish it. The service was good. Someone had two cigarettes inside while eating as well and no one that worked there said anything. Best to avoid in my opinion.

When i was there there was a padres game going on. The bar got pretty busy and just 2 ladies working the bar and tables. Never had an empty beer glass and food came out fast and hot. Best service I've ever had.

Get the ribs. Don't question it, just trust me. R. I. B. S. Fell off the bone so good I almost needed a fork.

It was a great place for a quick and delicious meal. BBQ sauce was on point and we really liked the ribs combo

Best BBQ in downtown San Diego. The food and the service are great. Marfy and Jesse set the tone for the best atmosphere and experience. Priscilla plays the best music. Gaslamp BBQ is a must stop when visiting downtown San Diego.

We ordered a half portion of ribs and one of pulled pork accompanied by onion rings and beans that were unbeatable. Very attentive and helpful service. The drink is not expensive and they served us some very good micheladas. Everything unbeatable, highly recommended

I was disappointed in my $40 brisket. Look at the attached picture and tell me if it looks like it's worth $50 (with tip). Coleslaw was nasty. Overall I was disappointed in the overpriced and unbalanced meal with poor sides.

Looking for lunch places that are easy breezy during San Diego Comic Con? Found this place today! It’s great; we ordered a pull pork sandwich and a bbq cheese burger with a side of fries, plus two Arnold Palmers (half lemonade, half iced tea)! While it was “crowded” there was enough movement for us to find a place to sit rather quickly (went around 1:30ish), and the staff was friendly and patient from start to finish. Definitely a future option for us thru the next Comic Cons!

I ordered pulled pork. It was Kahlua style pork with BBQ sauce on it and was nasty.
