Nested on a busy street in between Vietnamese shops, I always thought this was an Asian cafe but it’s not. It’s such a cute urban cafe.
Parking may be difficult on the street. They have a small lot. The menu is also small. They offer food such as bánh mì that’s from Paris Bakery.
They sell their own coffee grounds. They also feature items from local artists and retailers like books, candles, tshirts.
We ordered a lavender latte and matcha. There’s only one size and let me tell you, the coffee is strong! Definitely worth your money and great quality drinks for such a limited menu.

Marlyn and her staff are so friendly and their coffee is delicious. I stumbled upon them during my son's volleyball tournament and Marlyn told me all about the neighborhood and what to check out for Chinese New Year's. I liked it so much I brought back a whole crew a few hours later for coffee and teas. Also their lose leaf tea is fantastic by the way. Wish them the best!

I found "Gem" by accident (Week ago); The barista was nice enough to let me hang out while I waited an hour before my doctor appointment; (I was lost but just a block from the doctor)...I went to the doctor again today and visited "GEM". I met the other barista today; great service again!; Looks like GEM is officially my "must stop in" before my doctor visits..☕
