On top of that, they are always supporting the community. They have a variety of local artists and businesses items for sale in the store. They also host community cleanups and promote local events.

I found "Gem" by accident (Week ago); The barista was nice enough to let me hang out while I waited an hour before my doctor appointment; (I was lost but just a block from the doctor)...I went to the doctor again today and visited "GEM". I met the other barista today; great service again!; Looks like GEM is officially my "must stop in" before my doctor visits..☕

This place is far from a “Gem”
I was on my way to another coffee shop and saw this a cute looking, empty café, open on a Sunday, so I pulled over to Gem Coffee - and Boy, What a mistake that was!
I came for coffee and they said the drip was probably cold by now (before noon) so they could charge me for a pour over, which was more expensive and would take longer - I opted for an Americano instead for a dollar less
I asked if they had any food options, they said all they had left were three croissants…
“I assume these aren’t vegan correct?” They looked at me like I was crazy & didn’t understand what the question was…
I asked, because on the pastry container, there were vegan food options listed on a paper menu taped to the case, but apparently they had no food available today…
I tried to use their Wi-Fi, but it was not in a form that could easily be rewritten; so you’d have to ask for all the capitalizations & play DiVinci’s Code guessing…
When my drink was done, the barista had a hard time getting the drink over the counter to me, like it was too overcrowded in there (with one other customer in there)
The seats outside & wobbly tables will make you last 15 minutes max… if you don’t spill your coffee within the first 15 seconds…
Stay away from this Gem.

Stopped here after visiting a friend in Talmadge and craved an iced coffee, and met Marlyn, the owner of this cute coffee shop for over 4 years. I got the iced turmeric chai, so good.
The location is great, with a 15 minute parking spot in front!

A true ?Gem of a place! Marlyn is so friendly and welcoming. The vanilla latte is delicious, and there are pastries from the bakery around the corner. It’s very much a community hub for locals, and you’re always informed on upcoming events from bike rides to clean ups. And there’s crafts and art from locals— candles, zines, and more. Great for sitting inside or outside or as a quick stop to go!
Parking: There are 3 spots and one handicap spot.
Kid-friendliness: Books for kids and family friendly vibes.

Great City Heights Coffee Shop! The honey latte is amazing and it has a great environment to hang out in!
I walked in on a wym and it was such a good decision. I love how kind everyone was. I noticed the owner noticing everyone and returning customers. I worked hospitality for over 10 years. It’s so refreshing to see this level of care. I can’t recommend enough. I had the honey latte and it was delicious! Don’t skip this gem !

Wonderful, quaint little shop. Simple menu executed to perfection , with an uber friendly staff. Would happily pay shops like this 25% more than the mega corporations. Owner and business are extremely community driven and deserve the support. Try the lavender latte or one of the best pour overs in town!

Beautiful coffee shop. It’s in an odd sort of location though and there’s only street parking but it is gorgeous. The coffee is amazing as well as their botique type items. All the merchandise they had was adorable and well priced. The employee was very welcoming, friendly, helpful and sweet. Ambiance is so lovely, there’s so much seating available and the wide windows make it feel very spacious.
