Gilly's House of Cocktails

Went to a love island watch party here and it was terrible. The TVs were all off, sound was off different times. When we asked the staff to help and change they yelled at everyone to go watch at home. Highly don’t recommend if you’re going to watch anything. Only a few TVs and staff (not bartenders they were lovely) were super rude.

Incredibly rude staff. People asked them if they can fix the sound on the tv for a watch party and told them to leave. I don’t recommend!

Best dive bar!

What are great place. Cocktails are so good. They have a list of unique and classics. The music is good. The bartender was awesome. Pool tables were going. Clean and professional bar love this place.

Don't mean to mislead as this place only serves drinks, no food. But plenty of food nearby. However, this is a great bar with private patio to get a drink and hang out with people. Also play darts and shoot pool.

It was because of Ig that my friends and i went to check out this holiday pop up at the back of Gillys. Just letting you know, this is definitely worth a visit because even though it’s divey vibes, it feels homey. Probably because the front of the house is snap and divey. But once you reach the patio, it’s like a Christmas wonderland.

This place has been ruined yet again by CH. you go in and wait 30-40 minutes for a drink, the staff is unengaged and not friendly. Takes away from a fun atmosphere. CH is slowly ruining San Diego favorites

Appreciation post for serving Guinness in an actual Guinness glass. Don’t know anyone else who does that in sd. You guys rule for that.

Rude passive- aggressive, hyper-masculine staff. Also, don’t serve drinks within 10-min of closing if you don’t permit time to drink them. I would expect more inclusive treatment in North Park.

Loved coming here for the last 13 years. Was excited to see how it had changed after the buy out but we will not be back. I've never met an espresso martini I didn't like, but this nice lady bartender made us two undrinkable martinis. When we let her know we thought something might be off she told us thats what you should expect from a dive bar. Please take the option off the giant menu if you're not going to make it correctly. It had whiskey in it when it was advertised as grey goose. $40 plus a tip for 2 awful cocktails and a bad attitude. Also, no music playing, just politics on TV instead of the football game.
