We hosted a client event at Ginger's on St. Patrick's Day! To start, I was so impressed with our event coordinator, Whitney. She worked with us to deliver the type of event we wanted on the budget we needed to hit. The event space is perfect. The speakeasy-type environment was so fun for our guests. Everyone commented that the food was delicious and hearty enough to support the cocktails that were flowing.1000% recommend this spot if you're looking for a private event space in San Diego. Whitney and her team are top notch! The only negative - now we've set the bar so high, our clients expect us to do the same legendary event at every conference now!

Great place to meet up with friends for a speciality cocktail and funky music. Best bartenders in town. Super friendly staff. When in town swing by, downstairs from Barley Mash.

Had a really good time here with some friends in the bar downstairs one night, was right after a win from the Padres while we were visiting.Everyone was having a good time, the bartenders were absolutely fantastic and everyone was dancing and cheering. Why FOUR STARS?The music was pretty terrible. They played a little bit of stuff that people may recognize but the volume was up so loud in the downstairs bar that everything was crackling and completely distorted.
Small club. Great time.
Great location downstairs for the underground vibe
My wife and I were in town with friends and decided to walk around the Gas Lamp Quarter with no real game plan. We stumbled upon Ginger's since I myself am a proud Ginger. We figured we had to check it out. The menu was cool and all of the drinks were named after lines from Anchorman. We all ordered different drinks and they were fantastic! We ordered a couple of desserts after reviewing the menu and deciding it was not what we were in the mood for. The server seemed frustrated that we did not order food, but we still had a good time. The patio seating was wonderful on a cool night in May. The food that we saw looked amazing, but again just not what we wanted. If you are in the Gas Lamp and looking for a fun atmosphere and great drinks definitely pop in.
Hours are a bit different, theme is spot on. I will return.

Great spot, with Great employee's, I rented the Entire Club for a 50th Birthday Party that included food and drink. I highly recommend this Place.
I had such a good time dancing that I might have to go back and check out the food!! We arrived in town for a conference, had dinner and wanted to see what was going in. Stopped by Gingers for drinks and moments later a stage was being set up! We quickly learned that a DJ and guitarist would be performing. Great way to welcome out of towners! Such a great mix of music and we had so much fun.
