Bit pricey but to be expected. Excellent food from the omakase. Chef/staff did seem a little inattentive or distracted at times but overall an excellent first time experience!

Absolutely epic! Executive Chef Ethan Yang and his team are probably the best restaurant in Sky Deck and some of my favorite sushi in san diego. the vibes are impeccable, tasty, well done drinks, and thoughtfully crafted sushi that leaves me salivating for more. 10/10 would definitely recommend and worth the price

The food was okay. The California roll isn’t real crab and it was really gross because it was mixed with a lot of sauce inside but it made it extra yucky. The Philadelphia roll is very good. But their sushi rolls come apart and super sticky. They didn’t also get the order right and I never see the one that took the order again. It was strange.

We had a disappointing chicken salad and Omakase Experience sushi. The chicken was dry and overcooked and the omakase was 8 nigiri rolls with 2 pieces of sashimi ($55). Disappointed as I was looking forward to our experience.
Excellent food, top tier service, and a vibe? Yes please! Glass box exceeded expectations amidst the middle of the restaurant week. What a pleasure it was to dine with server and Chef Joel. We dined for restaurant week starting with the chirashi bowl and build your own sashimi. The fish was incredibly fresh and delicate. For mains we had the butter chicken and beef curry. OH MY F-ING G! The chicken was juicy and tender and the flavor was delectable. The beef curry was falling apart while we ate and was packed with flavor. Whatever the chefs special was for dessert made my boyfriend a lucky man that night. So delicious. I will 1000% be returning and recommending to my friends and family. 10/10 recommend.

We were waiting for 40 min to get our appetizers. The Japanese pumpkin salad was without pumpkin! The salmon was uncooked and very stiff. The dessert was so hard that the knife could not cut it. Won't recommend this place.

I came here with my sister for happy hour. I will say, the server was really nice and helped us decide on one of the most popular sushi rolls. We also decided to get the fried rice, edamame, and chicken skewers from the happy hour menu. The chicken in the fried rice was gray, chewy, and smelled terrible. I genuinely think that the only thing I enjoyed was the edamame because it came with truffle salt. The food quality was absolutely terrible. As others have said, $20-30 for a sushi roll and I have definitely had better rolls for way cheaper. Unfortunate experience.

Happy hour was amazing! The skewers are phenomenal, the oysters, the sushi rolls, anything you eat is soooo good. The quality is amazing as well.

Overrated and overpriced. $24 poke nachos and you get mostly imitation crab and like 1 tbs of salmon and tuna. Not a whole lot of variety when it comes to sushi. Sushi lacked flavor and was poorly rolled. Over all just wasn’t impressed especially given the price. There are way better places throughout SD county to enjoy great sushi and at half the price.

Extremely disappointed!!! We had three different roles and all tasted like sushi roles you get from a grocery store! Oh! There was one big difference, which is the PRICE! For a 20-30 dollars role you expect a good quality fish! But the fish was not fresh at all! Probably the cheapest sushi grade fish in the market! Their sushi rice was awful! The seaweed papers they use are also very low quality!
Low quality sushi with mid to high restaurant price range!
For now, absolutely a NO!
