The reason for this 1 star is because of an incident that I was involved in with one of the bartenders.
This incident happened on Saturday November 2nd 2024 at approximately 11pm during Halloween party.
What happened was when I finished ordering my drinks I want to close out my card and when I got my receipt I did put $0 on the tip part of the receipt because I didn't have any extra money to tip.
The next thing that happened is I went to go back to the dance floor when I realized that I accidentally had left my prop $100 at the bar for my costume so I was going to going back to pick it up then that was when the bartender had a personal problem and a violent body language by threatening me to throw me out the bar when he lashed out at me in a unprofessional matter which made me felt intimidating and which that can push me or other costumers away especially if that bartender were to act that way towards someone else over something that can be easily solved with solutions.
The worse is that the owner of the venue is not doing anything about it. I called and emailed but looks like an avoid. There's no way that people can have a convo by getting the other side of the story to come up with solutions

This is my go to local bar in point loma. They got all you need, karaoke, trivia, comedy nights, live music and Great prices, great food, great staff. Great atmosphere. There slogan my be there are a good bar not a great bar but I think they might need to change the name here soon

Had been looking in the point Loma area for a bar when I'm here for work. After finding some overrated places this one came in for the win. Nice big titty bartenders and a nice atmosphere. Drinks were reasonably priced too. I found my San Diego work bar.

Goodbar lives up to its name. It's a good solid bar that does hold events throughout the week. My personal favorite is $1 wing night on Mondays. Their kitchen is outside at a food truck, and they will walk over your food to where you're sitting. Big high 5 for the people who work their since the food has been nothing but delicious. Come early for happy hour and stay longer for the events and or good bartenders.

We came here for an early dinner and it happened to be their happy hour (2-6pm). I liked that they have HH seven days a week!
Upon arrival, we were told that it’s 21+ only so we had to sit outside because I brought my kid. According to him, “one star off for not letting me in.” lol Anyway, the weather was nice so we didn’t mind.
We ordered a classic cheesesteak and chicken tenders. The cheesesteak was delicious and I liked that they grilled the roll.
It looks like they have specials on different nights. I would come back to check them out.

We visited on a Saturday night, and the place was almost full of customers. They host shows on Saturday nights, but we arrived between performances, which allowed us to enjoy some kickboxing games at the bar. I ordered the Aristocratic Cheesesteak sandwich, which came with fries. It was pretty good and made for a satisfying bar meal. I also tried the dirty fries, which were delicious as well. My husband and I have been here before for comedy shows and live music, and it’s always a fun place to hang out!
This bar altered the existence of mankind. Please visit. 10/10

My hubbs and I found this place on a recent trip to San Diego. They weren't open yet when we got there so we waited over an hour till they opened just to try their cheesesteaks. It was worth the wait! I was born and raised in Philly, been living in CA for 3 years now. These are the best cheesesteaks I've had here. Tasted like home! ❤️
