My wife, daughter, and I are visiting from the East Coast. I located Gossip Grill from an online search. There are two sides to the Grill as well as an outdoor seating area. One side it great for socializing and the other side has a dance floor. The atmosphere for Lesbians is a safe friendly atmosphere. Last night from 6pm until 10pm was for age 40+ which had a good mixture of women and a few men. The music from the DJ was decent but a few songs caused just standing on the dance floor. The next DJ came in at 10pm and she was amazing. After 10pm the younger crowd came in and after a few great songs, it was time for me to go. If you’re ever in the San Diego area, this is a must visit.

The girl at the door was nice. There are two bars. My friend that goes all the time warned me that the bar on the side of dancefloor has really poor service. We tried going to the dance floor side, they don't make eye contact..they look pissed off. Not the vibe.
We went to the other side and they were wonderful. I got a spicy margarita slushy. It was amazing. It's unfortunate that one side really brings the customer service while the other doesn't. Overall great time.

This place is a tourist trap! I’m a SD local and there are SO many better places to eat or drink and hang out. The food quality here is like cafeteria in a hospital level bad! I ordered what was a $17-18 breakfast burrito and it was so basic I only ate it because I was starving (only egg and cheese, small bacon strip)….like ridiculously basic! Any level of attention or care to the level of food quality here would immediately up-level this joint. But since these owners are only interested in packing the place with drunkards I guess they have gone this route. My suggestion- go two doors down to Uptown Tavern - way better food and drinks!!

It was my first time coming here with friends for dinner. Our reservation was right after happy hour, so it was pretty quiet in our section—which made it perfect for conversation. The drinks were great and came out right away. We ordered two salads, tater tots, and fries—all the food was solid. I'll definitely be coming back! Love supporting other LGBTQIA+ bars and restaurants instead of always going to the same spots.

Was so happy to visit Gossip Grill while traveling in San Diego (so much so that I ended up stopping by 3 times!) Good vibes, eclectic atmosphere, spaces to sit and relax/converse but also a spacious dance floor. Variety of music which I appreciated. I went there multiple times alone and the community/staff made me feel at home. My bartender Liv was so sweet and attentive, and went out of her way to make sure I felt welcome there. Will absolutely be back!
I had spam musubi benny. Absolute favorite breakfast I've had in a long time. The poached eggs were phenomenal. Hollandaise sauce possibly could have used a little more seasoning but overall those eggs benedict were to die for. Atmosphere was great, especially with it being Pride month. Service was on point. Thank you for the best meal of the week so far! 🏳️🌈

Love this place! Employees are super friendly and they create a very safe environment for dancing. For some reason the music is usually kind of weird and not the vibe on Friday and Saturday nights so hopefully they sort that out! I’ll be back anyway though
