Frida. All I can say is Frida. I stopped by for happy hour and Frida made my time at Gossip the gift of my week:
The Cesar salad was really good. The drinks were AMAZING: the thing about Frida, the bartender, is that she knows how to connect with customers in a way that feels like home. My niece, who is 21, loved her energy, as did I.
Can’t wait to come back.

I hate having to rate a WLW space so low but I came in there the other week with my kickball teammates only to experience the most rudest food runner (Gwen). She seemed to have a problem. Every single question I asked her and I wasn't even asking her a lot of questions. It was just like basic stuff like when she brought out my chicken strips with no barbecue sauce I asked her for barbecue sauce. She was very snappy, rude and short to the point where four other people at my table pointed it out and specifically said I don't know why she is being so rude towards you. This isn't the first time I experienced such a snappy, short and negative tone from her and dare I say it. She seems to be a bit racist being that I was the only black person at the table and I'm not the only person at my table who noticed it. I was going to let it go but I come there often and this is not my first encounter with her where she is just unnecessarily unfriendly

What's the point of going to a lesbian bar club if you allowing straight cis man molesting woman under the club. I had a bad experience with this three man coming after me and my wife asking us if we were straight assuming our sexuality. Straight man already have a bunch of straight clubs and this club is exclusive to woman. Why going to the only bar where woman can be safe just to watch and objectify woman with their staring.

BEST HALLOWEEN EVER! Thank you so so much for the security guard and Aubrey for honoring our reservation even though they were super busy and the line was really long. The food (spinach dip) was KILLER and the music WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD! Thank you to the DJ for playing Huntrix, it was needed. WILL BE COMING BACK!!🩷

We were visiting SD and walking around all day before heading over. Great music and a cool vibe. But, were admitted around 9pm, not even an hour later we come back and cannot enter due to a small/medium purse. Security said it was too big and wouldn’t let us back in… even though we were just there with the exact same bag. Awe did not see any bag policy but even if there was, then we should have been denied the first time and we could have gone back to the hotel to drop off at a reasonable time. Shame because we would have loved to go back.

I feel SAFE here. No men groping me. Staff that calls out poor behavior. Consistent events, great music, local and small businesses collaborations- I’ve come multiple times from Colorado and even popped my business up a few times because I felt so comfortable and welcome!
Amazing food, can’t recommend the chicken tenders enough!
The staff are all their own color of amazing, shoutout to Joey, and Brit. I hope to come back one day soon! 💕

Go see my favorite bartender Frida, the food options are endless and the drinks are always amazing.
I came here expecting a fun night out, good music, and a lively atmosphere. Instead, the bar decided to kill the vibe mid-party by stopping everything to deliver a lecture to men about approaching women. Nothing says “buzzkill” like halting the music and turning a good time into a forced PSA.
Look, people come out to dance, socialize, and enjoy themselves—not to sit through condescending speeches. If management wants to host workshops, they should schedule them separately, not hijack the night when everyone is in the middle of enjoying themselves.
For me, that was the last straw. Plenty of other spots in town keep the energy alive without killing the mood. I won’t be coming back.

Been going to Gossip since it was at the original location on the other end of the block. Moe, Freda, Darcy, Joy... all of them are amazing. I proposed to my wife here (we met here) and they took care of us and helped with the surprise. It's home regardless of where we move. I still find drink tokens in my pockets years later lol (certain nights you get a token for a free drink of the same type you just bought (well, import, domestic).
The food is good, the atmosphere is good, and it's one of the best (if not the best) ensuring lesbian establishments in the United States.
