The menu looked impressive, but I found the food to be lacking. The salt and pepper calamari was crispy but oily and had hardly any taste other than oil. The pulled "pork" was fine, but was a bit too wet on the sandwich, and the "chicken" wasn't well hydrated. This meant it was cruncy but tasted a bit chalky. I would go back as other options seemed good.

It was fine. The menu was on the smaller side and I’d go there again, if there weren’t other options, but definitely the worst of the vegan places we tried this week and the worst banh mi I’ve ever had.

Very tasty. Quick and friendly service. Huge portions. Reasonably priced.

Loved this place. We had a soup, eggplant dish, sesame balls, and mushroom "calamari". The dishes were excellent, but I felt the appetizers were a little too oily, otherwise I would rate them a 5. Definitely try this place. Also, note that parking is not fun in this area. We had to go around the block a couple times.

I got food poisoning from the popcorn chicken like a year ago. it had all this weird dust/fuzz on it like it had been cooked hours ago and left to sit then was reheated (I did not eat the pieces with dust on them). sad because their noodle dishes were really good.

Really delicious and reasonably priced food. Love the fusion style. The Tokyo fries are one of my absolute fav things on the menu. As well as the fried kale and Banh mi 🤤 Decent beer, wine, teas, and specialty drinks.

I wish I could give 0 stars.
I ordered two Philly Steak sandwiches. For one of the sandwiches, I specifically requested the mushrooms to be well done, but they were not. This sandwich is a joke—it should be called a Bell Pepper Sandwich. Both sandwiches had barely any mushrooms, and the few mushrooms present were just small scraps. I will never go back—this was a complete waste of money.

Additionally, the manager was very rude. She didn’t change her gloves after touching the cash register. Instead, I saw her rinse off the gloves with water and then handle clean glasses. She should know better. Proper food safety protocol requires using clean, new gloves in such cases. If she has her Food Handler Certificate, she would know Single-use gloves should not be washed or reused. California Code, Health and Safety Code - HSC § 113973 section C.
I’ll be contacting the Department of Health tomorrow to report this.

I liked the yellow curry. There were lots of vegan options. It was pretty nice, but the delivery driver was 18 minutes late, and the prices were very high for small serving sizes.

The nicest owner. The freshest most delicious eggplant dish. The yummiest popcorn chickn (cauliflower). One of my favorite vegan spots in town. I cannot recommend enough. Updated from previous review on 2024-12-01

The cashier was the beginning of this unfortunate experience and the food was the reason we left without finishing. From the start we asked the cashier about the food and he said “I don’t know I just eat it.” Okay, thanks bro.
Two of the items ordered needed to be gluten free, the appetizer was a cauliflower buffalo wing, which he specified would be made in a separate pan as to not be contaminated by the oils that fry other breaded items. Okay fine. Never did he specify that it was frozen cauliflower heated up in a pan with buffalo sauce on it. He made it sound like it was similar to the menu item. Also when it came out it had one carrot and one stick of celery both cut in half to make 2 of each, but they were soaking wet and flavorless as if they had been sitting in water. The dressing was runny and didn’t taste anything like ranch. Probably one of the worst appetizers at a ridiculous price. Almost walked out then. Then the drunken Angel pasta sub gluten free, he didn’t specify it was with glass noodles. When the woman dropped it at the table she announced “here is the gluten free one” and left. Then she came back like “oh that’s not the gluten free one this is” completely dangerous and unprofessional to serve someone with a gluten allergy the wrong food. But what is worse was the two dishes looked completely different and not just because of the noodles. That was it, decided to leave right then. Honestly should have left at the behind because we ordered two glasses of wine to get 1/4 of a glass, tasted cheap. Should have known that in a place like this but why was the Pelligrino flat? We went here for the reviews but it was terrible. Got one meal comped and just left to go to a different restaurant. Really disappointed.

Ate here last night & ordered the Tom kha soup & fettucini bowl.
Soup was watery & not creamy
Fettucini sauce is a thick brown gravy paste.
Not worth the $30

My experience was via ordering on UberEats. The menu indicated salad, but what arrived was definitely not a traditional salad by any means. It was a hunk of cabbage and some random ingredients thrown in. I also got some mushroom bites (they were green?) that were quite tasty. Overall the food was good and I’m glad I ordered from an all vegan restaurant, but I wish the menu better described the food because it wasn’t what I expected.

The Bahn Mi pulled pork sandwich was delectable and the buffalo cauliflower tasted like Sunday night football and dad’s cigars. …no, not literally but it definitely elicited powerful memories of buffalo chicken wings times past. A potent taste.

Vegetarian options: Completely vegan restaurant and delicious to boot.
