Did a search for best bbq in SD. Watched triple D, and cruised over to their North Park location. Time was probably 12:45. Food was cold. So, I get that they open at 12, and need some prep time. I asked for them to reheat my beans/bacon. Cook said toss in the trash, stir the pot, and re-serve. Slightly warmer but surely under the health departments standard for hot food. There was no smokers working, save a puff from one near the street. My takeaway is this: First shift of first day of the week. No fresh meat, so reheated. Beans, meat hadn't been started early enough to serve hot. Can't for the life if me explain why the fries were stone cold. 51 bucks, I should have returned the whole mix and asked for a refund. Only consolation was the super cold Coke from Mexico. Oh, no fly trapping/killing machines, they were dive bombing our food the whole time... Might try a different location, definitely WILL return food if COLD.

Food was made from a good brisket that was damaged by over use of pepper. Good bun, decent fries. The line moved fast
One typically over seasons bad meat, but this Was good brisket underneath

Borrocho fries with brisket are half the size as last season. $40 to get the same amount of food as last year. Not going back.

The brisket bolillo is very good, although it is a little dry, they could add a little more sauce to moisten it more, but from then on it is highly recommended

The meat was very dry. What blows us away was that they had the cookers right there, and the meat was burnt and very dry. Price was what is expected at a ball park. 3 sandwiches and 2 soft drinks was $97 with tip.

Awesome views, great (although pricy) food and drink selection. You can bring in food but not drinks

We had the burracho fries with pulled pork. It really hit the spot at the Padres game. The BBQ was very good, great smoke flavor. Prices are definitely marked up for being in the ballpark, this was a good portion, so decent value.

It's expensive, but it's in the park so everything is. The food is good though. The fries were crisp and everything was fresh. The BBQ sauce was pretty good too.

Do you want to spend $20 on fries that have no flavor and are full of fat and gristle? The Grand Ole BBQ at the Park is your spot! What a disappointment. I don’t mind being overcharged but when the food is fatty AND lacking flavor, what can you say besides 1 star.

Absolutely the worst sandwich ever. They piled a bunch of scrap from the meat they cut and that was the sandwich. Not one slice of meat. Not a fan of the fries either but they were ok.
