Very nice staff that always deliver an incredible experience. My favorite place for breakfast anywhere in the world. Thank you for the great hospitality.

Pork chop and fish were well prepared. Waiter, and the rest of the staff, were great, honest about recommendations. Complimentary champagne for our anniversary was appreciated. Lots of history at grant

Opentable Diner

We ordered Barramundi and Iberico Pork Chop. Both were good but not as outstandingly delicious as we previously found at Grant Grill. For dessert the Cherry Clafoutis was definitely disappointing. The pastry was heavy and dense, not custardy as the standard is for this dish. Served a "room temperature" which, while may be acceptable for Clafoutis, not in this case. It was basically cold. We will return here, of course, and hope that this was a hiccup at a hotel which is quite classy.

Such a beautiful old historic building. People are just lovely helpful and everyone has a smile. Tables set beautifully, coffee was delicious. Service was perfect And our waitress was a doll. Breakfast was just what I wanted. I was hosting clients and we had a loud food show to attend after, so this wonderful breakfast was perfect beforehand. I could see dining here with my husband it definitely has that romantic Classic vibe. I also want to say again, how incredibly helpful and nice all the staff was in the restaurant and the hotel!!!

Logan and others were very attentive and very hospitable. We were six ladies having lunch before a play at the Civic Center (SIX). We felt welcome (as opposed to up to the early ‘70s when women were not allowed during lunch - that stopped when four founding members of The Lawyers Club had a secretary make a reservation, arrived and demanded to be sitted).

Server Samuel was the star of the evening. Of course the food was amazing and we will always come here just for the mock turtle soup. However Samuel made us feel like part of the family. He is a treasure and must ask for him if you eat here. Such an amazing hotel steeped in tradition. A+

this is a review for the christmas pre fixe dinner. we are locals who were looking to have a fun dinner. we’ve been to the grant grill for cocktails and snacks in the past, and it was excellent.

to make a reservation we had to put a hold for the pre fixe through open table, which would lead you to assume that’s what the deal is for dinner.

it was disappointing from the get go as we were given just a wine list, and nothing else, and when I tried to ask if the regular bar menu was also available, there seemed to be a push to choose from the wine list.

the portions were very small and some dishes tasted prepared, my salad tasted like it was sitting on the plate or at least premixed for quite a while before, and our mains were lukewarm. the portions were quite small for 135$, nor did they have the taste factor of a chefs tasting portion.

when i get up to use the restroom, i realized that if you just walk in for the evening, you could order off the regular menu both food and bar as no one else was eating the set menu.

walking out of there spending 480$ for 2 people was much less festive than ordering à la carte with better food and beverage options for less than that.

Stayed at the US Grant and came here for the brunch. Food was extremely overpriced for what it is. The chorizo omelette had about a half a teaspoon of actual chorizo as well as some lettuce or something in it (?) The quiche seemed like it came out of the microwave. Presentation and taste were bland.

The waiter could barely understand our order and got the drinks wrong.

Prices were absolutely astronomical given the quality of the food and, in addition, there was a surcharge of something like 8% tacked onto the overall bill.

It does get two stars for the ambience because it's certainly a nice place to visit but I won't be going back.

We went there because we had hotel credit . Once for lunch and once for breakfast. Both of the times we were served cold , and old foods very late .

We stayed at the Grant Hotel during our visit and decided to try the Grill for dinner. The food was absolutely outstanding, and the service was excellent throughout the night. We did have a small mix-up with our order, but the General Manager stepped in and more than made it right—it was a masterclass in how to handle a situation gracefully. We actually enjoyed it so much that we went back for breakfast the next morning, and it was equally impressive. We will definitely be back!

Service is the worst Order was incorrect and late. We waited on the host for 15 minutes. Waiters have no idea how to serve. Off compared to the place
