Food was burnt, oil used was dirty, potatoes were black and some hard as a rock, pork belly was dry and overcooked, food was way overpriced.

From the time I walked in to the time I left, this restaurant felt like one big hug! The tables are pretty close but not in your personal space. It's cozy... but let me tell you about the food and service - OUTSTANDING! I ordered the mimosa flight and it was great (my favorite was the Smokey Pineapple and Strawberry Lemonade). My main selection was the Crispy Chicken Sandwich and truffle fries with a side of ranch and garlic aioli (trust me on this). First of all - the sandwich is huge like 4 stories high lol. But the flavor was what gripped me the most... the chicken was tender and the toppings were all fresh!! Then I got to the famous Maple Bacon Doughnuts - OMG! They were served warm and huge and they come in an order of 3. This restaurant doesn't play around with flavor or portions. If I lived in San Diego, I would be here 3-4 days a week - not kidding! Oh and my amazing server Sam was quick, attentive, and so warm! She's amazing!!! Thank you Great Maple for an outstanding, one of a kind dining experience! Chef's kiss! 😘

Making a reservation is the way to go! There's always a line to get in. One of the most delicious Cesar slalds I've EVER had!!

Jasmine was amazing! It was Father's Day so the restaurant was packed, she made us feel like we were her only table and there was no rush. Little did she know, that my sister and I (who are both in the restaurant business- which means we can't help but judge every restaurant) were there to have our first Father's Day after losing our Dad. We were both sad and sensitive, Jasmine created a dining experience that shined a positive light on a day we weren't excited to celebrate. Thanks Jasmine!

Very mediocre food, vastly overpriced. Management has very lousy attitude. I'll never frequent here again. The fact that they had a table free on short notice for dinner on a Saturday should have been a red flag. Wish I'd took notice of to the signs.

I'm just blown away...everything was exquisite. I eat out all the time and fancy myself a bit of a foodie and let me tell you, it's seriously the best meal I've had in 3 years of living in San Diego. I plan to go back often and eat everything on that menu. I'm beyond impressed!

Delicious brunch! I had the lavender mimosa (amazing) and the smoked salmon toast. Everything tasted great. It was busy on Sunday morning for brunch, but we ever felt rushed. The only issue is parking, but I would definitely go back.

Great Maple is one of our favorite brunch restaurants. The food is always delicious, there is a great variety of beverages and the service is outstanding. We split an order of the maple bacon doughnuts as an “appetizer” and they were phenomenal.

Was so good the first time, my wife and I came back. Great Maple did not disappoint. The staff is always great, friendly, and super attentive. Food is on point. Nice ambiance. Solid place.

The food was delicious. This is the spot to “Go-To” on Friday nights for their Prime Rib. Best looking Prime Rib I have seen in a while. My wife and her friend absolutely loved it. Recommended with Au-Juis on the side. I had their Salted Carmel Ribs and they were outstanding. Josh and Leslie were terrific. The Key Lime Pie was also amazing.

This place is so good, it’s practically illegal. Do yourself a solid and check it out—trust me, you'll be thanking me later. You're welcome in advance!

The food was too salty too eat.

Neither myself or my daughter could eat more than a couple bites of our breakfast. We both ordered the simple breakfast of two scrabbled eggs, breakfast potatoes, and toast. There was a spot on the toast which I thought was mold. I did order a cappuccino and my daughter ordered an orange juice and a side of chicken apple sausage, which she said was too salty as well.
Should we have sent the food back, yes but I rarely send food back for another try. I strongly suggest if you dine here to ask for no salt and season whatever you choose yourself.

The prominently displayed Michelin sign shouldn't sway your decision to eat here. The only similarity to other Michelin restaurants that I've dined at is the cost, $51.00 for what shouldn't cost more than $30.
I didn't rate the service or atmosphere.

I don't recommend this restaurant
