Great Mapel is a great spot for breakfast, brunch or lunch!On a Saturday morning we had about 30 minutes before we could be seated, but the surrounding neighborhoods are super nice for a quick walk.The food presentation is immaculate, and it tastes as good as it looks! The atmosphere is very laid back, and the music was a vibe. Staff was super friendly too! A little pricey but worth every penny.Parking: Not a TON of spots, but usually just enough for a busy day.

Had a great breakfast at Great Maple, and definitely got what I paid for, which wasn't cheap, as expected though. My wife had the Hardwood Smoked Bacon scramble melt, which looked rather small in the nice tin it was served in, but very misleading; so much bacon and eggs in it that she could only eat half. Very flavorful. The breakfast potatoes were crispy and tasty. I had the Smoked Beef Brisket Hash and it was awesome. Each bite was practically a different flavor due to the variety of ingredients. And, oh so filling; again, so much bacon, which is not a bad thing at all! The service was very friendly and top-notch. Best to park at the DMV and walk over.

I enjoyed the Vegan Hash even though I put eggs with it. The food was delicious. Our server Monroe was very helpful on deciding what food was really good and fulfilling. I love the atmosphere and the presentation of the food. I'll recommend this restaurant to anybody.

Although Great Maple is off the beaten path from downtown San Diego, it was well worth the short trip!!! The food was amazing and definitely one of the best meals we had during our trip!

It was a lovely Sunday Easter Brunch. Don’t miss the standard on the menu Pork Belly and polenta!Kid-friendliness: The staff is very attentive. They could tell that my waitress hadn’t been here for a minute and the front hostess person saw that and she came over and immediately took our drink order before our entrée order.

Delicious food, fun and different menu offerings but everyone came away satiated and we all look forward to another visit. I enjoyed the kale quinoa salad, another deep fried banana and peanut butter pancakes. We started with their turnovers. Yum! Super fast service with a smile and on Easter we were all expecting a wait.
